NVIDIA RTX A1000 Laptop GPU lub A1000 Mobile to profesjonalna karta graficzna dla mobilnych stacji roboczych. Bazuje ona na układzie GA107 Ampere i oferuje nieco niższą wydajność niż konsumenckie karty graficzne GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU . Oferuje on 2048 rdzeni CUDA, 16 rdzeni Raytracing i 64 rdzenie Tensor w połączeniu ze 128-bitową magistralą pamięci. Dostępny jest w różnych wariantach o mocy od 35 do 95 W (TGP) z różnymi prędkościami zegara (i wydajnością). GPU obsługuje eDP 1.4b do podłączenia wewnętrznego monitora oraz DisplayPort 1.4 i HDMI 2.1 do połączeń zewnętrznych.
Nie ma już wariantu Max-Q (wcześniej używanego dla wariantów o niskim poborze mocy), ale każdy producent OEM może zdecydować się na wdrożenie technologii Max-Q (Dynamic Boost, WhisperMode).
Surowa wydajność powinna być nieco wolniejsza odGeForce RTX 3050 dla laptopów na tym samym poziomie TGP. Oba GPU w dużym stopniu zależą od dobrego chłodzenia i wysokiego TGP dla uzyskania dobrej wydajności. Przy podobnym poziomie zużycia energii RTX A1000 powinien być wyraźnie szybszy niż staryQuadro T1200 .
Układ GA107 oferuje 2.560 jednostek ALU FP32, z których połowa może również wykonywać instrukcje INT32 (tj. 1.280 jednostek ALU INT32). Dzięki Ampere wszystkie shadery mogą nadal wykonywać instrukcje FP32 lub INT32. Rdzenie raytracingu i tensora na chipie również zostały ulepszone według Nvidii. RTX A1000 może jednak wykorzystywać tylko 2048 rdzeni CUDA. Układy Ampere zawierają również ulepszony koder wideo 5. generacji (NVENC dla H.264 i H.265) oraz dekoder 7. generacji (dla różnych formatów w tym AV1).
Chip GA107 jest produkowany przez Samsunga w 8nm (8N), który nie jest w stanie nadążyć za 7nm węzłem w TSMC (np. używanym przez AMD, a także w profesjonalnym chipie GA100 Ampere). W zależności od TGP, A1200 może być również stosowany w cienkich i lekkich laptopach (np. z TGP 35 W).
