AMD Ryzen 7 68 00H to procesor dla dużych (gamingowych) laptopów oparty na generacji Rembrandt. R7 6800H integruje wszystkie osiem rdzeni opartych na mikroarchitekturze Zen 3+. Są one taktowane zegarem od 3,2 (gwarantowany zegar bazowy) do 4,7 GHz (Turbo) i obsługują SMT / Hyperthreading (16 wątków). Chip jest produkowany w nowoczesnym procesie technologicznym 6 nm TSMC.
Nowy Zen 3+ jest odświeżeniem architektury Zen 3 i nie powinien oferować wielu zmian. Sam układ oferuje jednak wiele nowych funkcji, takich jak obsługa USB 4 (40 Gbps), PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s lub LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 i dekodowanie AV1.
Dużą nowością jest zintegrowany procesor graficzny Radeon 680M który jest teraz oparty na architekturze RDNA2 i oferuje 12 jednostek CU o taktowaniu do 2,2 GHz. W momencie ogłoszenia powinien to być najszybszy iGPU ze wszystkich.
