Intel Arc G3 Extreme

Intel Arc G3 Extreme to szybki układ SoC klasy średniej, wyposażony w 14 rdzeni z rodziny Panther Lake przeznaczonej dla urządzeń przenośnych. Układ ten posiada również wydajny 12-rdzeniowy procesor graficzny iGPU.

Cechy charakterystyczne

Arc G3 Extreme zawiera moduł obliczeniowy wyprodukowany przez firmę Intel w nowym procesie technologicznym 18A. Obejmuje on 2 duże rdzenie typu P z architektury Cougar Cove o częstotliwości do 4,7 GHz, 8 rdzeni typu E z architektury Darkmont oraz 4 małe rdzenie typu E z architektury Darkmont LP (o niskim poborze mocy). Zintegrowano również nowy procesor NPU 5 o wydajności 46 TOPS INT8 oraz procesor obrazu IPU-7.5. Zintegrowany kontroler pamięci obsługuje do 96 GB pamięci LPDDR5(X)-8533.

Moduł GPU zawiera wydajny procesor graficzny iGPU o nazwie Intel Arc B390 z wszystkimi 12 rdzeniami Xe3 oraz obsługą ray tracingu. Jednak w modelu Arc G3 taktowanie procesora graficznego wynosi 2,3 GHz.

Trzeci chiplet integruje kontroler platformy z 12 liniami PCIe, 4 portami Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 (R2) oraz modułem Bluetooth Core 6.0. Kontroler platformy jest produkowany przez firmę TSMC.

Wydajność

Wyniki naszych testów wskazują, że wydajność procesora CPU jest nieco niższa od wydajności procesora procesora Intel Core Ultra 5 338H (12 rdzeni, ale z 4 wydajnymi rdzeniami typu P o częstotliwości do 4,7 GHz). W szczególności nieco niższa jest wydajność jednowątkowa. W porównaniu z procesorem AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, który również jest przeznaczony do urządzeń przenośnych, procesor Arc G3 Extreme wyprzedza go w naszych testach o 6%.

Wartość TDP procesora Arc G3 Extreme wynosi od 15 do 25 watów (Processor Base Power) i może na krótko osiągnąć 80 watów (Maximum Turbo Power).
