Nowy Zen 3+ jest odświeżeniem architektury Zen 3 i nie powinien oferować wielu zmian. Sam układ oferuje jednak wiele nowych funkcji, takich jak obsługa USB 4 (40 Gbps), PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s lub LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 i dekodowanie AV1.
W serii 6000 AMD w końcu przeszło na obecną architekturę graficzną RDNA 2 dla iGPU. Model 6650H oferuje tylko wolniejszyRadeon 660M z włączonymi 6 z 12 jednostek CU i maksymalną częstotliwością taktowania 1,9 GHz.
TDP APU zostało określone na 45 W (domyślnie). Wydajność energetyczna powinna być bardzo dobra, dzięki ulepszonemu procesowi technologicznemu 6 nm i dodatkowym funkcjom oszczędzania energii w serii 6000.
