Qualcomm SD 8cx Gen 3

Platforma obliczeniowa Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 to oparty na architekturze ARM układ SoC dla laptopów z systemem Windows. Zawiera cztery duże rdzenie ARM Cortex-X1 o wydajności (do 3 GHz) oraz cztery mniejsze rdzenie ARM Cortex-A78 o częstotliwości do 2,4 GHz.

Platforma obliczeniowa posiada również modem Snapdragon X62 5G o prędkości pobierania do 10 Gbps i wysyłania 316 Mbps. Zintegrowany modem WLAN obsługuje Wi-Fi 6E (2x2), a system pozycjonowania satelitarnego obsługuje BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, QZSS i SBAS. Wbudowany silnik wideo obsługuje dekodowanie H.264, H.265 i VP9 przy 4K 120fps.

Wydajność ma być o około 85% szybsza dla CPU i 60% szybsza dla GPU w porównaniu do poprzedniej generacji (Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2).

Układ jest produkowany w nowoczesnym procesie 5nm w firmie Samsung (5LPE) i przeznaczony dla laptopów bez wentylatora (zakres TDP 7-9 W).
