Intel Pentium Silver N6005
Intel Pentium Silver N6005 to czterordzeniowy SoC z serii Jasper Lake, który jest przeznaczony głównie do niedrogich i małych komputerów stacjonarnych i został ogłoszony na początku 2021 roku. Cztery rdzenie procesora Tremont taktują z częstotliwością od 2 do 3,3 GHz (pojedynczy rdzeń Burst) i nie oferują technologii HyperThreading (SMT). N6005 wykorzystuje 1,5 MB pamięci podręcznej L2 i 4 MB pamięci podręcznej L3. Układ produkowany jest w technologii 10 nm przez firmę Intel (najprawdopodobniej w tym samym procesie technologicznym co Ice Lake).
Architektura procesora
Architektura procesora nosi nazwę Tremont i jest całkowicie przeprojektowana w porównaniu do starych rdzeni Golmont Plus w poprzedniku. Według Intela, wydajność pojedynczego wątku rdzenia może zostać poprawiona średnio o 30% (10-80% we wszystkich testach SPECint i SPECfp).
Funkcje
Oprócz czterordzeniowego bloku CPU, SoC integruje 32-rdzeniowy procesor graficzny Intel UHD Graphics taktowany zegarem od 450 do 900 MHz oraz dwukanałowy kontroler pamięci LPDDR4(x) (do 16 GB i 2933 MHz). Układ integruje również częściowo Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), 8 linii PCIe 3.0, 14 portów USB 2.0 / 3.2 i dwa porty SATA 6.0. Opakowanie zostało powiększone i mierzy 35 x 24 mm (w porównaniu do 25 x 24 mm np. dla N5030). SoC jest bezpośrednio przylutowany do płyty głównej (BGA) i nie można go łatwo wymienić.
Wydajność
Przeciętny N6005 w naszej bazie danych jest w tej samej lidze co Core i3-1110G4 jeśli chodzi o wielowątkowe wyniki benchmarków. To wystarczy, aby cieszyć się przeglądaniem stron internetowych i oglądaniem filmów online bez zauważalnych spowolnień, od połowy 2023 roku - czego chce większość konsumentów.
