Core i5-460M to jeden z lepszych średniej klasy procesorów Intela z drugiej połowy 2010 roku. Obok i5-450M był jednym z najpopularniejszych procesorów Core pierwszej generacji z funkcją Turbo Boost. Wydajnością przewyższa i3-370M o około 15%, a jest o niecałe 10% gorszy od i7-620M (od którego różni się niższym taktowaniem, posiadaniem 3 a nie 4 MB pamięci Smart Cache oraz brakiem instrukcji AES, technologii TET i VT-d). W marcu 2011 roku Core i5-460M był na wyposażeniu ponad 150 dostępnych wtedy modeli laptopów.

Asus praktycznie zdominował rynek małych laptopów z akumulatorami o dużej pojemności. Oferuje liczne, podobne do siebie konstrukcje, które różnią się podzespołami. U31JG nie zalicza się do najmocniejszych modeli, ale posiada standardowy procesor Core i5 pierwszej generacji oraz niezintegrowaną kartę grafiki Nvidii. Małe notebooki z rodziny U imponują długą pracą na akumulatorze, ale zwykle nie rozpieszczają jakością wykonania. Jak to wygląda w U31JG?

Recenzja Asus U36JC

Kiedy tylko świat się o nim dowiedział, Asus U36JC został obwołany konkurentem MacBooka Air. Model ten ma jednak niewiele wspólnego z produktem Apple, gdyż Asus wyposażył swój laptop w bez porównania wydajniejsze podzespoły. Z tego zresztą powodu obawialiśmy się mocno o kulturę pracy tego modelu. Okazało się, że (po części przynajmniej) słusznie.

Recenzja Dell XPS 15 (Full HD, i5, GT 420M)

Dell XPS 17 doczekał się dwóch recenzji w naszym serwisie. Nie inaczej musiało być z mniejszym modelem XPS 15 (L501x). I w tym przypadku wariantem testowanym jako drugi był ten słabszy, z dwurdzeniowym procesorem oraz kartą graficzną GeForce GT 420M. Zakładaliśmy, że tym razem sprawdzimy model ze standardową matrycą HD Ready, ale ostatecznie otrzymaliśmy egzemplarz z wyświetlaczem Full HD.

Recenzja Dell XPS 17 (Core i5M, GF GT 435M)

Po recenzji XPS-a 17 (L701x) w mocniejszej konfiguracji publikujemy teraz test modelu ze słabszymi podzespołami, tj. dwurdzeniowym procesorem Core i5 i kartą grafiki GeForce GT 435M. Co prawda wydajność tej wersji jest znacząco mniejsza, ale wykazuje się ona dużo niższymi temperaturami roboczymi. Emisja hałasu z kolei jest praktycznie identyczna. W drugiej recenzji XPS-a 17 nasz recenzent wnikliwiej przyjrzał się właściwościom obudowy i klawiatury tego laptopa. Bardzo mocnym punktem tej konstrukcji są według niego głośniki JBL z subwooferem.

Recenzja Asus U41JF

U41JF to nieodkryta perła wśród laptopów Asusa. Notebook ten posiada 14-calowy ekran, waży niewiele ponad 2 kg, posiada pojemny akumulator pozwalający na 4-6 godzin normalnej pracy (przy oszczędzaniu energii nawet więcej), wydajny procesor Core i5 (nie ULV) i kartę grafiki nadającą się do gier o dużych wymaganiach sprzętowych. Z niniejszej recenzji można się dowiedzieć więcej o jego potencjale i walorach użytkowych.
