Intel Core i5-450M

Core i5-450M to średniej klasy procesor Intela z połowy 2010 roku. Jest on podobny do i5-520M, z tym że nie posiada instrukcji AES, technologii TET i VT-d oraz posiada nieco niższe maksymalne taktowanie w trybie Turbo. Wydajność tych procesorów jest więc zbliżona w większości zastosowań (w obliczeniach jednowątkowych minimalnie szybszy jest i5-520M). Z uwagi na atrakcyjną relację wydajności do ceny był to procesor chętnie wybierany przez kupujących laptopy; jeszcze w pierwszym kwartale 2011 roku występował w kilkudziesięciu modelach komputerów przenośnych.

Recenzja Acer Aspire 5742G

Aspire 5742G to jeden z wielu uniwersalnych notebooków Acera średniej klasy. Posiada on procesor Intela oraz kartę graficzną Nvidii lub AMD. Testowany model otrzymał nowy układ GeForce GT 540M z technologią Optimus. Aspire 5742G występuje w kilku różnych wersjach kolorystycznych. W naszym kraju spotykany jest wariant o miedzianej obudowie, a testowany egzemplarz posiadał korpus i pokrywę ekranu z szarego tworzywa.

Recenzja HP ProBook 6450b

Następca ProBooka 6440b pojawił się stosunkowo szybko. ProBook 6450b różni się jednak od swojego poprzednika tylko kosmetycznie. Producent zadbał więc o to, by nabywcy starszego modelu nie poczuli się pokrzywdzeni i nie żałowali pochopnej decyzji o zakupie sprzętu. Lepszy procesor i dodanie portu eSATA nie są rewelacjami dużego kalibru, ale i tak warto było przepuścić nowego ProBooka z matrycą 14” przez naszą procedurę testową.

Recenzja Asus B53J

B53J zalicza się w poczet coraz liczniejszej grupy laptopów Asusa dla firm, przeznaczonych do użytku biurowego. Ten akurat model posiada niezależną kartę grafiki ATI (B53F jest jej pozbawiony). Układ ten da się wyłączyć, dzięki czemu możliwa jest zadowalająco długa praca na akumulatorze. Do tego Asus B53J jest wyposażony w wydajny procesor (w testowanym egzemplarzu i5-450M) i posiada liczne złącza peryferyjne. Najważniejszą jednak jego cechą jest matowa matryca 15,6”.

U45JC to kolejny smukły, lekki i wydajny laptop w ofercie Asusa. Wydaje się być stworzony dla użytkowników potrzebujących komputera mobilnego ale posiadającego szybki procesor. Jak można się jednak spodziewać, nie jest to urządzenie pozbawione wad. Przekonajmy się czy bilans jego zalet i mankamentów wychodzi na zero czy też nie.

Recenzja Asus P42JC

Od niedawna Asus produkuje laptopy przeznaczone typowo dla firm. Co prawda mają one obecnie marginalne znaczenie w ofercie firmy, ale już pierwsze konstrukcje z tego segmentu (np. B50A) okazały się udane. P42Jc to laptop z ekranem o przekątnej 14”. Jak przystało na sprzęt do użytku biurowego, matryca jest matowa. Co ciekawe, ten biznesowy laptop otrzymał technologię Nvidia Optimus.
