AMD Ryzen 9 7950X to szybki, high-endowy procesor do komputerów stacjonarnych z serii Raphael. Oferuje 16 rdzeni opartych na architekturze Zen 4, która obsługuje hyperthreading (32 wątki). Rdzenie pracują z częstotliwością od 4,5 (bazowa) do 5,7 GHz (boost dla jednego rdzenia). 7950X to drugi najszybszy Ryzen w momencie premiery.
Wydajność R9 7950X jest znacznie lepsza od poprzedniego Ryzena 9 5950X dzięki ulepszonej architekturze i nowoczesnemu procesowi 5nm. W porównaniu z procesorem Intel Raptor Lake Core i9-13900K wydajność jednordzeniowa jest nieco niższa, a wielordzeniowa nieco szybsza. Wydajność w grach jest nieco niższa.
Seria Raphael nadal wykorzystuje konstrukcję chipletową z dwoma klastrami CCD (każdy z 8 możliwymi rdzeniami) w 5nm i IO-die (obejmującym kontroler pamięci i Radeon Graphics iGPU) w 6nm.
R9 7950X ma TDP na poziomie 170 W i okazał się dość energochłonny w aplikacjach i grach.
