Allwinner A523 to bardzo przystępny cenowo SoC oparty na architekturze ARM dla smartfonów i tabletów. Ośmiordzeniowy procesor zaprezentowany w 2023 roku składa się z dwóch czterordzeniowych klastrów, z których każdy składa się z 4 rdzeni Cortex-A55.

Szybszy czterordzeniowy klaster działa z częstotliwością taktowania do 1,8 GHz i oferuje 128 KB pamięci podręcznej L2 na rdzeń A55, podczas gdy drugi klaster taktuje z częstotliwością do 1,4 GHz i oferuje tylko 64 KB pamięci podręcznej L2 na rdzeń.

W innej wersji Allwinner A523, pierwszy poczwórny klaster taktuje z częstotliwością do 2,0 GHz. Układ ARM Mali-G57 MC1 który obsługuje OpenGL 3.2, Vulkan 1.0 i OpenCL 2.0. Zintegrowano również jednostkę PMU XuanTie E906 RISC-V.

SoC Allwinner może kontrolować do 4 GB pamięci RAM DDR3/DDR4/LPDDR2/LPDDR3/LPDDR4/LPDDR4X oraz pamięć flash eMMC 5.1. Oprócz PCIe 2.1, obsługiwane są również interfejsy USB 3.1 Gen. 1 i Gigabit Ethernet. Nie zabrakło również dekodera wideo H264/H265 (do 4K przy 60 klatkach na sekundę) oraz kodera H264 (do 4K przy 25 klatkach na sekundę).

Allwinner A523 jest produkowany w strukturze o szerokości 22 nm.
