Samsung Exynos 2100 5G to wysokiej klasy SoC z 8 rdzeniami w trzech klastrach (1x Exynos X1 2,9 GHz/ 3x Cortex-A78 2,8 GHz/ 4x A55 2,2 GHz) i zintegrowanym procesorem graficznym ARM Mali-G78MP14 (+40% szybszy w porównaniu do Mali-G77MP11). Zintegrowany modem 5G o przepustowości do 7,35 Gb/s (5G NR Sub-6Hz, 5G NR mmWave, LTE Cat.24 DL / Cat.22 UL). Układ obsługuje pojedyncze kamery o rozdzielczości do 200 MP lub podwójne kamery o rozdzielczości 32 MP każda, pamięć masową UFS v3.1 i pamięć LPDDR5. Filmy mogą być dekodowane do 8K60 w 10-bitowym HEVC lub 30fps w VP9/AV1. Kodowanie jest obsługiwane w 8K30 HEVC i VP9. Do obliczeń AI Exynos 2100 integruje potrójny rdzeń NPU i DSP. Układ jest produkowany w technologii 5LPE w firmie Samsung.
Wydajność procesora w naszych testach z Samsungiem Galaxy S21 Ultra jest nieco niższa od Snapdragon 888 (liczby z własnego urządzenia testowego Qualcomm), ale wyraźnie wyższa niż stary Snapdragon 865+ . W porównaniu do Apple, wydajność pojedynczego wątku jest podobna do starego Apple A12 . Wydajność wielowątkowa jest lepsza i pomiędzy A13 a obecnym A14 CPU . Podsumowując, Exynos 2100 powinien być drugim najszybszym SoC dla urządzeń Android i tylko nieznacznie ustępować Snapdragonowi 888 pod względem wydajności procesora. Dlatego też wszystkie wymagające aplikacje powinny bez problemu działać na 2100.
