Choć po zakupie Note 15 Pro+ użytkownicy najprawdopodobniej będą z niego zadowoleni, za te pieniądze smartfon napotyka na potężną konkurencję. Alternatywy takie jak POCO F8 Pro, Xiaomi 15T czy zeszłoroczne modele mogą zaoferować zauważalnie więcej w zbliżonym budżecie. Kiedyś naprawdę lubiłem smartfony Redmi z serii Note. O ile Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G przypadł mi do gustu, to z pełną świadomością, że jego premierowa cena jest zbyt wysoka. Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G kontynuuje ten trend i wydaje mi się, iż lubiana linia urządzeń tańszej marki Xiaomi straciła swój pazur. Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G pod wieloma względami da się polubić. Wyświetlacz AMOLED cieszy oko, aparaty robią przyzwoite zdjęcia za dnia oraz w nocy, a szybkie ładowanie zawstydza mnóstwo flagowców. Mamy tu kilka istotnych zalet, które bledną przy uwzględnieniu ceny smartfona: co najmniej 1999 złotych. Nieco taniej można kupić Xiaomi 15T, a nieco tylko drożej POCO F8 Pro i świetnego POCO F7 Ultra. Konkurencja również nie śpi.

Moim zdaniem Redmi Note 15 Pro+ to udany telefon, który jest zbyt mocno obcięty w stosunku do chińskiego wariantu, żeby usprawiedliwić jego cenę. Gdyby na start wariant 12/512 GB kosztował poniżej 2 tysięcy złotych, to wyglądałoby to dużo lepiej. 2299 złotych na start to zwyczjanie zbyt wiele, choćby przez brak teleobiektywu czy plastikową ramkę. Nie mam specjalnych zastrzeżeń co Redmi Note 15 Pro+ jako takiego. To bardzo solidny telefon ze świetną baterią, niezłym aparatem, idealną kulturą pracy oraz ciekawą obudową z wegańską skórą. Jestem też pewien, że niebawem znajdziesz go w promocjach za jakieś 1700 złotych. I wtedy z czystym sumieniem będę mógł Ci go polecić.

Owszem, 8-megapikselowy obiektyw szerokokątny wciąż wypada przeciętnie, ale połączenie 50-megapikselowego głównego modułu fotograficznego Sony i teleobiektywu z trzykrotnym zoomem optycznym o tej samej rozdzielczości 50 MP jest świetne. Oba modele posiadają hybrydową stabilizację obrazu i umożliwiają wykonywanie bardzo szczegółowych zdjęć i filmów zarówno w dzień, jak i wieczorem. Głośniki stereo nie należą do flagowych, ale są dość głośne, a dźwięk jest zrównoważony i przyjemny dla ucha. Dostępne są płatności zbliżeniowe NFC, obsługa sieci 5G, port podczerwieni, a wersja na Chiny obsługuje również komunikację satelitarną. Mamy więc przed sobą godną kontynuację idei serii, gotową dostarczyć nabywcy wielu pozytywnych emocji.

Although users will likely be satisfied with the Note 15 Pro+, the smartphone faces stiff competition for this price. Alternatives such as the POCO F8 Pro, the Xiaomi 15T, and last year's models can offer significantly more for a similar budget. The likes of the Google Pixel 9a and OnePlus Nord 5 can outperform Xiaomi’s choice in terms of grunt, for instance, while Google’s own version of Android is much cleaner and easier to live with, and its camera is also a strong performer. The Nord 5 isn’t as strong on battery life as Xiaomi’s choice, though, but its OxygenOS skin is much less in your face with AI or any ads compared to HyperOS. With this in mind, there’s still a fair bit to like about the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, and it’s a cromulent Android handset for the price. You've also got fantastic battery life and a solid set of specs, but the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G isn't quite the perfect mid-range mobile. For one, the camera tech - while undoubtedly impressive at this price - isn't infallible. Snapping live subjects quite often results in blurry or slightly out-of-focus photos. Still, kids and pets aside, the low light camera results are certainly excellent. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G has enough grunt from the Snapdragon chipset to play games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves. You can also expect all-day battery life, or even a full weekend of play time on a single charge. Factor in the 100W wired charging and you should never run dry. So that's my review of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G global model. I've also compared this mid-range phone vs the rest of the series, to see which is best for you!

Before we come to a verdict for the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, we must understand that prices are rising, and it's becoming difficult for phonemakers to deliver the value they provided even a year ago. So, should you buy the Redmi Note 15 Pro for Rs. 50,000, or spend Rs. 10,000 more for the Pro+? For me, paying extra for the Note 15 Pro+ makes more sense. You get better performance, a better display, slightly better cameras, and a more premium design. If your budget is strictly Rs. 50,000, I honestly don’t think the Note 15 Pro is the best choice this year. Phones like the OnePlus Nord CE 5 offer much better performance and a cleaner software experience. If cameras matter more to you, the Nothing Phone 3a is another strong option with better software, better camera performance, and a unique design. Overall, I feel the Redmi Note 15 Pro is slightly overpriced for what it offers at Rs. 50,000.

Furthermore, I can’t help but feel like the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G’s battery is a lot less efficient than it should be. The unit is backed by a 6500mAh (typ) battery that, even with fairly standard usage, only holds a charge for less than a day. Users can switch fairly easily to the Battery Saver or Ultra Battery Saver modes to really extend the phone’s life, but I was genuinely depressed when it seemed like this brand-new device had the same battery capacity as my five-year-old Note 20. But aside from some minor inconveniences, I was seriously impressed with the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the big three mobile brands. At $499 USD (roughly $700 CAD) its a genuinely solid phone for a reasonably affordable price. Its serious power, impressive camera and solid functionality make it a worthwhile pocket companion. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G smartphone combines peak performance with a sleek design for a seriously impressive mobile device.

I’ve said this many times before, and I’ll say it again. With smartphone prices rising in 2026, new phones simply don’t offer the same value for money as they used to. The Redmi Note 15 4G and 5G are premium-looking smartphones that deliver a solid multimedia experience. Social media usage, video streaming, and everyday tasks work smoothly without major issues. If that’s all you need, the 4G variant makes more sense to me. The performance difference between the 4G and 5G models is minimal; the camera on the 5G variant is not significantly better, and overall, the 4G version feels like the better value. That said, Redmi really needs to fix the camera performance through software updates on both phones. Since neither of these phones is aimed at serious competitive gaming, I would suggest looking at the Infinix GT 30 if you want better gaming performance under NPR 40,000. And if camera quality is your top priority, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is a better option in my opinion.

Some competitors offer an ultra-wide camera, though usually a pretty average one. This phone skips the ultra-wide entirely, which I'm actually fine with. And while it's not aimed at people chasing top-tier camera performance, the Redmi clearly outclasses Moto G models in display quality and beats the Galaxy A17 in raw performance. Samsung still has a slight edge in camera quality overall — at least in my view.

Bądźmy szczerzy: po pierwszych dwóch tygodniach z Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G miałam ochotę wyrzucić ten sprzęt za okno. To było straszne doświadczenie. Nie pamiętam, bym w ostatnim czasie testowała jakiekolwiek urządzenie, które tak bardzo by mnie rozczarowało i irytowało pod praktycznie każdym względem. I – gdyby drugi egzemplarz testowy potwierdził wszystkie te problemy – mielibyśmy do czynienia prawdopodobnie z najniższą oceną sprzętu na Tabletowo w naszej ponad 15-letniej historii. Na szczęście to się nie wydarzy. Mimo wszystko jednak Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G to sprzęt, w przypadku którego muszę silić się na szukanie zalet. Zwłaszcza mając w pamięci, że w podobnej cenie (a przypomnę, że kosztuje 1699 złotych) lub nawet taniej można kupić między innymi Motorolę Moto G86 Power z akumulatorem 6720 mAh czy Poco X7 Pro z 6000 mAh.
