Moim zdaniem Redmi Note 15 Pro+ to udany telefon, który jest zbyt mocno obcięty w stosunku do chińskiego wariantu, żeby usprawiedliwić jego cenę. Gdyby na start wariant 12/512 GB kosztował poniżej 2 tysięcy złotych, to wyglądałoby to dużo lepiej. 2299 złotych na start to zwyczjanie zbyt wiele, choćby przez brak teleobiektywu czy plastikową ramkę. Nie mam specjalnych zastrzeżeń co Redmi Note 15 Pro+ jako takiego. To bardzo solidny telefon ze świetną baterią, niezłym aparatem, idealną kulturą pracy oraz ciekawą obudową z wegańską skórą. Jestem też pewien, że niebawem znajdziesz go w promocjach za jakieś 1700 złotych. I wtedy z czystym sumieniem będę mógł Ci go polecić.

Możliwości fotograficzne przeszły przyjemną metamorfozę. Owszem, 8-megapikselowy obiektyw szerokokątny wciąż wypada przeciętnie, ale połączenie 50-megapikselowego głównego modułu fotograficznego Sony i teleobiektywu z trzykrotnym zoomem optycznym o tej samej rozdzielczości 50 MP jest świetne. Oba modele posiadają hybrydową stabilizację obrazu i umożliwiają wykonywanie bardzo szczegółowych zdjęć i filmów zarówno w dzień, jak i wieczorem. Głośniki stereo nie należą do flagowych, ale są dość głośne, a dźwięk jest zrównoważony i przyjemny dla ucha. Dostępne są płatności zbliżeniowe NFC, obsługa sieci 5G, port podczerwieni, a wersja na Chiny obsługuje również komunikację satelitarną. Mamy więc przed sobą godną kontynuację idei serii, gotową dostarczyć nabywcy wielu pozytywnych emocji.

Overall, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is a decent mid-range option. Except for some slight tweaks, it's pretty much the same phone as its predecessor. The biggest improvement is in battery life, which counts for something. But it still offers middling performance. It's also disappointing that it launched with the older HyperOS 2.0 (and without a proper AOD). It doesn't help that my 12GB+512GB review unit is priced at S$599, up from S$569 for last year's model.

Unless you really need a new mid-range smartphone right now, we don’t see the necessity in getting it. In isolation, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is more than a decent all-rounder with dependable battery life, quick charging, excellent display and durable design. The camera system leaves more to be desired, but we can't expect too much from a midranger. However, if you factor in the pricing, the phone's prospects look bleak. At its launch price, the new Pro+ faces rivals, many of which are superior (even ones by Xiaomi itself). And in this context, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ doesn't stand out at all. Still, judging by the price movements of the previous Redmi Note 14 Pro+, we expect the newer 15 Pro+ to become much more competitive with time. Taken in isolation, the Note 15 Pro+ hits all the right notes for phone that straddles the affordable/mid-range price points. The revised styling and new generation processor help it largely keep pace with rivals, and the 200MP lead camera remains rather capable indeed. It’s not like Redmi has taken a giant leap forward from the Note 14 Pro+, though. The refreshed silicon isn’t dramatically faster or more power efficient than the outgoing phone, and while the battery is bigger, it’s not as big a jump as I was expecting given rivals are already pushing 7000mAh or higher. We’ve merely had baby steps for multiple generations now, which are hard to get excited about. It’s high time Redmi steps up its software game – then maybe next year’s offering will be something to set pulses racing.

Furthermore, I can’t help but feel like the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G’s battery is a lot less efficient than it should be. The unit is backed by a 6500mAh (typ) battery that, even with fairly standard usage, only holds a charge for less than a day. Users can switch fairly easily to the Battery Saver or Ultra Battery Saver modes to really extend the phone’s life, but I was genuinely depressed when it seemed like this brand-new device had the same battery capacity as my five-year-old Note 20. But aside from some minor inconveniences, I was seriously impressed with the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the big three mobile brands. At $499 USD (roughly $700 CAD) its a genuinely solid phone for a reasonably affordable price. Its serious power, impressive camera and solid functionality make it a worthwhile pocket companion. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G smartphone combines peak performance with a sleek design for a seriously impressive mobile device.
