Dzięki ciągłej pętli Cinebench R15 po raz pierwszy przyjrzeliśmy się wydajności zainstalowanego systemu chłodzenia i jego interakcji z poborem mocy procesora. Początkowo zaobserwowaliśmy najlepszy wynik, któremu towarzyszył również najwyższy pobór mocy. Jeśli chodzi o temperatury, na początku drugiego uruchomienia odnotowaliśmy tylko 100 °C. Oznacza to, że wydajność musiała zostać nieco obniżona. Taki los spotyka niemal wszystkie urządzenia, które pracują pod ciągłym obciążeniem. Spadek wydajności Geekom A5 jest znacznie mniejszy, a dla porównania nasza próbka testowa osiągnęła najlepszy wynik w ciągu 50 przebiegów (1715 punktów). W tym samym teścieMinisforum Venus Series NAB6udało się uzyskać średnio tylko 1627 punktów.

W syntetycznych benchmarkach związanych z wydajnością systemu, Geekom A5 pokazał stosunkowo dobry wynik PCMark 10. W teście Crossmark nasze recenzowane urządzenie nie było już w stanie nadążyć, co oznacza, że Geekom A5 mógł zapewnić sobie jedynie miejsce w połowie tabeli. Podobnie, testowany egzemplarz bardzo dobrze poradził sobie z testami pamięci RAM, choć wystarczyło to jedynie do zajęcia czwartego miejsca. W tym obszarzeMorefine M600znalazł się na szczycie stawki dzięki pamięci DDR5. W codziennym użytkowaniu nie zaobserwowaliśmy żadnych ograniczeń. Płynna i szybka praca jest możliwa ze wszystkimi porównywanymi urządzeniami, a Geekom A5 nie jest wyjątkiem od tej reguły.

Opóźnienia DPC

Zmierzone opóźnienia Geekom A5 były nieprzekonujące i nie najlepsze w swojej klasie. System recenzencki osiągnął już takie opóźnienia podczas otwierania wielu kart przeglądarki Edge. Nie postrzegalibyśmy jednak tych wartości jako krytycznych i nadal zalecalibyśmy używanie Geekom A5 jako klienta przesyłania strumieniowego, ponieważ odtwarzanie wideo 4K nie spowodowało wzrostu opóźnień. Podczas tego procesu iGPU było wykorzystywane w nieco ponad 30 procentach. Prime95 również nie spowodował pogorszenia opóźnień.

Wydajność w grach

Pomimo dobrej wydajności 3D w syntetycznych testach porównawczych, nie należy oczekiwać zbyt wiele odAMD Radeon RX Vega 8. W jego rdzeniu wciąż mamy do czynienia z prostym iGPU. Jednak po raz kolejny maszyna Geekom zdołała umocnić się na tle konkurencji w porównaniu. Ponieważ większość porównywanych urządzeń jest wyposażona w procesory Intela, pierwsze trzy miejsca zajmują wyłącznie mini PC z procesorami AMD. W tym obszarze zintegrowane rozwiązanie graficzne Intela po prostu nie jest konkurencyjne. Niemniej jednak, chociaż Geekom A5 nie może być uznany za komputer do gier, nasza próbka testowa poradzi sobie z prostymi i starszymi tytułami. Zauważalnie wyższą wydajność w grach można uzyskać dzięki HX99Gjak również NUCXi7 oba pochodzące z Minisforum. Zapewniają one doskonałą wydajność w grach dzięki dedykowanej karcie graficznej.

Temperatura

Podobnie jak w przypadku wielu innych mini PC, obudowa Geekom A5 nagrzewa się tylko nieznacznie. Świeże powietrze jest zasysane po bokach i kierowane na zewnątrz urządzenia z tyłu. W przypadku AMD Ryzen 7 5800H pod obciążeniem zaobserwowaliśmy stosunkowo wysokie temperatury, co sugerowałoby, że Geekom nie ogranicza SoC ani termicznie, ani pod względem zużycia energii. SoC osiągnął temperaturę nieco poniżej 100 °C wkrótce po uruchomieniu. Ten krótkotrwały wzrost spowodował wysokie temperatury, które zaobserwowaliśmy również podczas analizy pętli Cinebench R15. W dalszym przebiegu testu obciążeniowego temperatura procesora ustabilizowała się na bezkrytycznym poziomie 89 °C. Przy 35 watach pod ciągłym obciążeniem, SoC działał na stabilnym poziomie.

Zużycie energii

Zasadniczo, mini PC są bardzo ekonomiczne w porównaniu do tradycyjnych komputerów stacjonarnych. W porównaniu do konkurencyjnych urządzeń w tej recenzji, początkowo zaobserwowaliśmy niskie zapotrzebowanie na energię podczas pracy bezczynności. Jednak pod obciążeniem to się zmienia, a przy zaledwie niecałych 90 watach, Geekom A5 przez krótki czas wymagał więcej energii niż niektóre konkurencyjne urządzenia. Pod średnim obciążeniem odnotowaliśmy prawie 61 watów, czyli również nieco więcej niż konkurenci A5. Dostarczony 120-watowy zasilacz jest odpowiedniej wielkości - nawet dla dwóch dodatkowych urządzeń pamięci masowej.
