Wizualnie nie ma prawie żadnych różnic pomiędzy Minisforum Neptune Series HX90Ga Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G. Obudowa nadal zbudowana jest głównie z plastiku, z kilkoma dodanymi małymi elementami wizualnymi z karbonu. Wewnątrz jest też trochę metalu, który wspomaga stabilność. Wykonanie naszego testowego egzemplarza jest dobre, choć docenilibyśmy też wyższej jakości dobór materiałów. Z.Minisforum Neptune Series NAD9, producent udowodnił już, że można też inaczej. W zestawie z komputerem znajduje się podstawka, która pozwala ustawić go pionowo na biurku. Nie trzeba jednak z niej korzystać, gdyż bez problemu można również obsługiwać urządzenie w poziomie.

W porównaniu do HX90G, rozmiar jest identyczny, ale przy wadze 1,6 kg (~3,5 lb) widzimy wyraźną różnicę w wadze - Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G waży prawie 200 gramów (~7 oz) więcej, co jest zapewne zasługą wydajniejszego chłodzenia. Zewnętrzny zasilacz wnosi do wagi dodatkowe 650 gramów (~1,5 lb).

W praktycznym teście z użyciem testowego routera Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 widzimy w naszym testowym egzemplarzu podobną wydajność jak u konkurencji tego samego producenta. Nie jest on jednak w stanie osiągnąć wydajności Intel Wi-Fi 6E-AX210. Aby uzyskać szybsze połączenie danych, można alternatywnie skorzystać z portu LAN, który obsługuje maksymalnie 2,5 Gbit/s.

Konserwacja

Zasadniczo można wykonywać zadania konserwacyjne za pomocą Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G, ponieważ i tak można kupić urządzenie w wersji barebone. Jednak nadal mamy skargę na ten sam punkt w HX99G, co już w HX90G, przy czym ich podstawowa konstrukcja jest taka sama. Śrubki do otwierania obudowy ukryte są pod gumowymi paskami, na których urządzenie opiera się w pozycji poziomej, więc po ich odkręceniu można zaryzykować, że paski nie będą już prawidłowo przylegać. Po odkręceniu śrubek można stosunkowo łatwo otworzyć spód obudowy. Pod nim znajdziemy dodatkową metalową osłonę, którą również trzeba zdjąć, aby uzyskać dostęp do pamięci RAM, dysku SSD czy modułu Wi-Fi. Ta metalowa płyta służy do przytrzymania bocznych pokryw. Aby dostać się do dwóch wentylatorów, trzeba dalej rozebrać urządzenie, ale przy odrobinie wprawy można to łatwo zrobić. Producent wyraźnie radzi, aby nie zdejmować radiatorów z SoC i GPU. Pasta termiczna ułatwiająca odprowadzanie ciepła została już nałożona, więc naszym zdaniem nie powinniście nic tutaj zmieniać.

Wydajność - AMDs Rembrandt SoC o dobrej wydajności

Firma Minisforum wyposażyła model HX99G z serii Neptune w nowy układ AMDRyzen 9 6900HX. Na pierwszy rzut oka upgrade do HX90G oferuje tylko niewielki wzrost wydajności, ale dzięki pamięci DDR5 i Thunderbolt 4, dodatkowa wartość nowej platformy może być dość wysoka.ZAMD Radeon RX 6600M, mamy też do czynienia z całkiem wydajną kartą graficzną, która pozwala nam w ogóle postrzegać to urządzenie jako komputer do gier.

Warunki badania

Wszystkie testy wydajnościowe przeprowadziliśmy z aktywnym profilem zasilania "Najwyższa wydajność". Nie zmienialiśmy parametrów zasilania procesora, pozostawiając go w trybie "Auto" zgodnie z ustawieniami BIOS-u.

Na stronie .AMD Ryzen 9 6900HXto nowoczesny ośmiordzeniowy procesor z obecnej linii Rembrandt, który jest w stanie pracować równolegle na łącznie 16 wątkach. W płycie Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G zastępuje on m.in.AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, co pozwala mu nieco zwiększyć ogólną wydajność. Jest to jednak nadal dalekie od zauważalnego wzrostu wydajności, a oba SoC oferują subiektywnie taką samą prędkość. Ponieważ Minisforum oferuje również serię Neptune jako HX80G z AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, uwzględniliśmy również ten SoC w naszej tabeli porównawczej.

Obecnie dysk SSD od Kingstona jest stosunkowo często stosowany w komputerach osobistych od Minisforum. Tak też jest w Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G, przy czym model ten również zapewnia bardzo dobrą wydajność. Przy 512 GB zastosowany tu model nie oferuje szczególnie dużej ilości przestrzeni dyskowej, jest to też najmniejszy model, jaki producent oferuje w swoich prekonfigurowanych systemach. Jednak jak na urządzenie do gier przystało, nie powinno zabraknąć przynajmniej 1 TB przestrzeni dyskowej. Na szczęście przestrzeń dyskową można też łatwo rozszerzyć w późniejszym czasie, korzystając z drugiego slotu M.2. Chcemy też podkreślić tutaj dobrą wydajność odczytu 4K, która zauważalnie poprawia ładowanie wielu małych plików.

Ze względu na.AMD Radeon RX 6600M, czysta wydajność gier Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G jest dobra, oferując mniej więcej taką samą prędkość jak Minisforum Neptune Series HX90G. Szybszy SoC nie jest w stanie zapewnić tutaj zauważalnie wyższej wydajności. W porównaniu do. Lenovo Legion 5 z tą samą kartą graficzną, nasz testowy egzemplarz bardzo wyraźnie wyprzedza. Powodem jest pobór mocy dedykowanego akceleratora pikseli, który w całym Minisforum wynosi maksymalnie 100 watów .

Omawiając benchmarki syntetyczne, wspomnieliśmy już o możliwości podłączenia zewnętrznej karty graficznej przez Thunderbolt. Jednak w testach czysto gamingowych, konfiguracja wykorzystująca Razer Core X i Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Tinie jest w stanie zapewnić przekonującej wydajności. Niestety ograniczona przepustowość zewnętrznego złącza PCI Express domaga się swojej należności.

Z drugiej strony dostępna wydajność karty AMD Radeon RX 6600M jest nadal wystarczająca do płynnego przeniesienia na ekran większości gier w 1080p przy maksymalnych ustawieniach detali. Chłodzenie Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G składa się łącznie z siedmiu ciepłowodów i dwóch dużych wentylatorów. Minisforum zastosował tutaj pastę termiczną, która zapewnia doskonałe odprowadzanie ciepła z matryc SoC i GPU do radiatorów. Z temperaturami obudowy Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G nie ma żadnych problemów. Choć przy 76 °C (169 °F) sam chip nie jest problemem, to widzimy bardzo wysoką temperaturę w konwerterach napięcia przy 102 °C (216 °F). Oddzielne wartości są minimalnie lepsze, jeśli torturujemy urządzenie samym FurMarkiem. Widzimy wtedy tylko 97 °C (207 °F), podczas gdy jeszcze 103 °C (217 °F) w.HX90G. Wydaje się, że producent nieco zoptymalizował tutaj cooler. Podczas stress testu, który symuluje ekstremalny scenariusz, temperatury rosną wyżej niż w codziennej pracy, co wynika z ekstremalnego obciążenia CPU i GPU. W naszym egzemplarzu testowym nie zaobserwowaliśmy throttlingu wydajności z powodu zbyt wysokich temperatur.

Pobór mocy

W kwestii poboru mocy większość mini-PC prawie zawsze ma przewagę w porównaniu ze zwykłymi komputerami stacjonarnymi, ze względu na wydajne komponenty. Przy poborze mocy pomiędzy 16,8 a 23,1 W podczas pracy w stanie spoczynku, Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G jest dość wydajny. Pod pełnym obciążeniem podczas stress testu z Prime95 i FurMark, zasilacz musi być w stanie dostarczyć do 262 watów. Wraz z Minisforum Neptune Series HX99G producent przeprowadza pewną konserwację produktu w swoich bardzo kompaktowych komputerach do gier. Z nowym AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, jest szybki SoC, choć nie jest w stanie zapewnić zauważalnego wzrostu wydajności w porównaniu do AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX. Ze względu na kompaktową konstrukcję, widzimy, że jak często, tak i tutaj w tych kompaktowych komputerach zastosowano technologię laptopową. Zazwyczaj sprawdza się to bardzo dobrze, gdyż wydajność osobnych komponentów ogromnie wzrosła w ostatnich latach. Dzięki natywnemu ośmiordzeniowemu procesorowi (AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX), wydajność jest wystarczająca, a w połączeniu z AMD Radeon RX 6600M, można cieszyć się nawet najbardziej aktualnymi grami. Według naszych testów, nieograniczona gra jest możliwa w 1080p i najwyższych ustawieniach detali.

Podobnie jak Minisforum Neptune Series HX90G, również obecny model HX99G korzysta z niemal identycznej obudowy. Wizualnie nie widać praktycznie żadnych różnic. Jeśli jednak przyjrzeć się bliżej, można dostrzec pewne różnice z tyłu, które wynikają z nowoczesnej różnorodności połączeń.
