Motorola may thrive in the midrange with phones like the Moto G Stylus 2025, but the company is clearly feeling itself with the Razr. The Razr Ultra 2025 represents the absolute best of Motorola, from its iconic design to its impressive specs and a fun suite of AI features. The partnership with Pantone is clearly paying off, as evident by the display and camera improvements, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite gives the Razr a new edge as a premium Android smartphone. Of course, the price tag may be hard for some to justify, and the update promise could be better if you don’t plan on upgrading in the next three or four years. However, I feel like the positives easily outweigh the negatives and the Razr Ultra 2025 is easily one of the best foldables… no, one of the best phones of 2025.

Let’s face it, flip phones aren’t for everyone. I’m not a huge fan of flip phones myself, as I’d rather have a book-style foldable. Where I can have a full-size phone, and then open it and get more of a tablet-sized display. But the Razr is a flip phone I could definitely use as my daily driver, largely because of everything they’ve done with that Cover Display. Allowing you to use any Android app on the Cover Display is really nice, and it means I don’t have to open the phone every time I want to use it, or doom scroll on X.

The Razr Ultra comes with three years of software support and four years for security updates. And that is disappointing, especially for the price. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 that costs $1,100 has seven years support for both. I realize that most people keep their phones for an average of two and a half years, but when you're paying $1,300 for a phone, you should be able to use it past 2029 without issues. I really like the Motorola Razr Ultra, but it's hard to recommend for $1,300. If you're comfortable with the limited software support and serviceable cameras, then go for the phone. It's fun to use, looks sharp, built well and probably one of the most unique phones you can buy today. But I think most people looking for a Razr foldable will be fine with the Motorola Razr Plus. It's still $1,000, and currently on sale, and is largely the same as when it came out in 2024.

Overall, this is arguably the first true flagship foldable that you can buy. There are so few compromises to this phone that it's pretty easy to recommend. But for that price you're getting a phone with a bigger battery, better build quality, a better cover screen, more flexible software, and better cameras. But if money is no object, the Razr 60 Ultra is the flip phone to beat in 2025. Just make sure the cheaper regular Razr 60 doesn’t still offer everything you’re looking for.

The Razr 60 Ultra is a clear step up from the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and it’ll likely be the same for the Z Flip 7 unless long software support is a top priority. Switching between them allows you to admire the stunning design, especially if you go for the wood finish. Motorola has not only doubled down on its flip-phone design leadership with exciting materials like real wood and Italian Alcantara, and refined color partnerships, but it has also decisively addressed key hardware shortcomings. The move to a true flagship processor, the doubled RAM/storage, the significantly larger battery with faster charging, and the promising, across-the-board camera sensor upgrades represent a major leap forward. The improved IP rating adds practical durability. While I can’t deliver a final verdict until I’ve had time to test this phone with a full review – especially focusing on camera performance and real-world battery endurance – the Razr Ultra 2025 feels like the most complete, comely, and compelling Razr yet.

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra (or Razr Ultra in North America) is a thoroughly excellent small foldable that could very well be the best-performing specimen of its kind that we've seen to date. Its flaws are few, the most important being the aggressive CPU throttling. It robs the phone of some of the positives of having the best Android chipset currently available, and it's seemingly an inherent limitation of the model's thermal design. Maybe the relatively low maximum brightness of the display in manual operation also stems from thermal considerations as well. Other than that, the Razr's showing is class-leading in most respects. Battery life is excellent across the board, and charging remains best-in-class, as last year. The displays can, actually, put out plenty of nits when the ambient light calls for it - also scoring higher than the rest in that test.

That’s how much the company’s Razr Ultra costs. The highest-end model in Moto’s new trio of Razr phones, the Razr Ultra promises to deliver a premium foldable experience at a premium price. It looks virtually identical to the Razr Plus (save for fancier finishes) and focuses on better specs to improve the experience. Meanwhile, the regular Razr Plus and Razr have even smaller durability and faster performance upgrades compared to the Moto Razr (2024). As the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 quickly approaches, Motorola’s latest flip phones seem ready for the competition. All in all, Motorola has seemingly made a pretty solid device. It looks and feels good, and while I can’t imagine myself using all of the AI features like Playlist Studio, Look and Talk and Remember, there might be some functionalities I use daily. And I’m incredibly happy to see the return of the ultrawide camera and that the phone has an even larger battery than last year’s. In a few weeks, I’ll put this phone through its paces and offer my unfiltered opinion about this handset. The Motorola Razr Ultra will be available for pre-order on the company’s website on May 7 and will be released on June 3. The base Motorola Razr will also be available for pre-order on May 7 and will launch at retailers on May 15. Canadian pricing is still unavailable.

All in all, Motorola has seemingly made a pretty solid device. It looks and feels good, and while I can’t imagine myself using all of the AI features like Playlist Studio, Look and Talk and Remember, there might be some functionalities I use daily. And I’m incredibly happy to see the return of the ultrawide camera and that the phone has an even larger battery than last year’s. In a few weeks, I’ll put this phone through its paces and offer my unfiltered opinion about this handset. The Motorola Razr Ultra will be available for pre-order on the company’s website on May 7 and will be released on June 3. The base Motorola Razr will also be available for pre-order on May 7 and will launch at retailers on May 15. Canadian pricing is still unavailable.

The Razr 2024/Razr 50 brought some meaningful upgrades to the vanilla Razr last year, but the 2025 models seem to be incrementing on the model name, more than anything else. What was good about 2024 handsets is also good on the new models - the near-creaseless internal display, the large and functional cover panel, and the Moto software are all at least as good as the competition, but in many ways better. But what wasn't great on the 2024/50 hasn't gotten any better on the 2025/60 and that's rubbing us the wrong way. The chipset was underpowered last year, and it's not gotten any more powerful this year. The camera processing isn't quite up to scratch either, and it's not been improved in any meaningful way. And for some reason, we've gotten worse battery life out of the new model, despite the increase in capacity.

But by putting style first, this Razr does fall short against comparably priced phones when it comes to processing power and even shorter in software longevity. The Razr simply won't be for you if you value these elements of a brand-new phone, and you'd be better off with the $499 Google Pixel 9A or the $650 Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. However, the Razr is undeniably fun to use, and its $700 price is the lowest currently available for a brand-new flip-style foldable phone in the US. So if it's that style and flexibility you're after most, it's then easy to recommend the Razr as a way to get it.

Karty z tej kategorii są w stanie pociągnąć płynnie najnowsze gry, ale

nie ze wszystkimi opcjami i nie w wysokiej rozdzielczości. Szczególnie

wymagające gry chodzą tylko na minimalnych ustawieniach, w wyniku

czego często mocno cierpi jakość grafiki. Układy z tej klasy powinny

zainteresować osoby rzadko grające w gry.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Zintegrowana jednostka graficzna w Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC dla smartfonów z trzema plasterkami po 1,1 GHz każdy. Zintegrowane 12 MB współdzielonej pamięci podręcznej dla trzech układów. Według Qualcomm, 40% szybszy niż poprzednia generacja (Adreno 750).

Niektóre mniej wymagające nowsze gry mogą działać dobrze na niskich
