Mimo wszystko idą one w bardzo dobrym kierunku, przez co moim zdaniem Motorola razr 60 ultra to jeden z najlepszych składanych telefonów dostępnych na rynku. Największymi atutami tego urządzenia są jego przemyślany design i jakość wykonania. Kombinacja drewna z metalową ramką tworzy ciekawy charakter, który wyróżnia razr 60 ultra na tle konkurencji często stawiającej na szkło i metal. Mechanizm składania został udoskonalony do poziomu, który budzi zaufanie co do długoterminowej trwałości, a smukłe wymiary po złożeniu czynią z tego telefonu jeden z najbardziej poręcznych składaków na rynku.

Mój tytuł recenzji nie jest wcale przesadzony. To faktycznie telefon, który odwraca zasady gry użytkowania smartfonów. Wyświetlacz zewnętrzny to cud świata największy i uwielbiam z niego korzystać. Oczywiście musimy się przywyczaić, że trzymamy w ręku urządzenie o wielkości małego pudełeczka, ale kontakt ze wszystkimi aplikacjami jest świetny, a segment fotograficzny daje dużo dodtakowych możliwości. Do zestawu zostało dołączone stylowe etui. To skórzany materiał, przypominający małą torebkę z pozłacanym uchwytem, jednak szczerze mówiąc nie wpasowuje się ono w moje gusta. Na pewno znajdzie swoich fanów, ja jednak nim nie zostałem. Czasem sobie myślę, że rynek foto robi się nudny. Oczywiście cieszą nowe podzespoły i możliwości, ale w dużej mierze dotyczną one możliwości fotograficznych i funkcji ai.

Motorola razr 60 ultra po raz kolejny urzeka swoim wyglądem i zewnętrznym ekranem. Zresztą podobnie jak poprzedniczka. Dobrą wiadomością jest dodanie certyfikatu odporności na kurz i brud, a nie tylko wodę – IP48, ale również wzmocniona konstrukcja. Mnie niezmiernie zachwycają obudowy w Motoroli – szczególnie ich kolory. Tutaj najbardziej urzekła mnie wersja z Alcantarą, ale i wersja drewniana na pewno znajdzie swoich fanów. Mamy też większa baterię, mocniejszy procesor, więcej RAMu i poprawione aparaty. Zestaw 3 x 50 MP, to bardzo dobra opcja dla osób lubiących robić zdjęcia i chcących mieć składany smartfon. Wiadomo, że w tej cenie można kupić model typowo fotograficzny, ale to zupełnie inna konstrukcja więc nie porównujmy jabłek z gruszkami

Dwa lata temu recenzowałam model razr 40 ultra, w ubiegłym roku na redakcyjne testy trafiła równie udana motorola razr 50 ultra – to, że popularna seria zmieniła się wraz z najnowszą odsłoną, nie podlega dyskusji. Klapki wyróżniają się wśród typowych smartfonów nie tylko kształtem – Motorola potrafi sprawić, że wyglądają one prestiżowo. Dodajmy tu wysoką jakość wykonania i dbałość o szczegóły, a także nietypowe, zwracająca uwagę kolory.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra to bez wątpienia jeden z lepszych (jeśli nie najlepszy) składanych smartfonów typu flip na rynku. Nie dość, że wykorzystuje bowiem dwa bardzo dobre wyświetlacze LTPO AMOLED z odświeżaniem 165 Hz, wydajny układ Snapdragon 8 Elite i użyteczny zestaw aparatów, to charakteryzuje się niebanalnym designem. Do tego dochodzi dobrze zoptymalizowany system Android 15, kompletne zaplecze komunikacyjne oraz fakt, że jego zewnętrzny ekran jest bardzo praktyczny i realnie rozszerza funkcjonalność urządzenia. Całość działa płynnie, a poza tym jest odporna na działanie wody i do pewnego stopnia na pył. Oczywiście ten smartfon nie jest pozbawiony wad. Mimo bardzo wydajnych podzespołów nie radzi sobie najlepiej z odprowadzaniem ciepła – co pokazały testy obciążeniowe.

Tak samo jak telefon konkurencji, od razu przybywa ze świeżym Androidem 15 i obietnicą producenta 3 kolejnych aktualizacji systemu Android oraz 4 lat wsparcia w zakresie łatek bezpieczeństwa. Zawiera także udogdnienia AI Gemini i Moto AI, więc każdy głodny nowinek powinien być zadowolony. Niemniej mówimy o flagowcu i to do tego w trudnej kategorii telefonów składanych, które są obecnie najdroższymi na rynku. Sprawia to, że użytkownik zwraca uwagę na każdy mankament i niewygodę. Razr 60 Ultra jest urządzeniem ślicznym, które na pewno stworzy zagrożenie dla tegorocznego Flipa Samsunga, lecz nie uczyni, że obecni fani koreańskich składaków zaczną się przerzucać do innego obozu.

The phone's only shortcoming is that it heats up if you spend a lot of time shooting video outdoors. At the same time, I don't see gamers purchasing a Razr 60 Ultra as regular bar-shaped devices are better-suited for this purpose. For the clamshell foldable target audience, this is indeed as good as it gets, as Motorola has shoved in a top-end processor and managed to deliver a very capable set of cameras along with above-average battery life, which is also the reason to upgrade to this new model. Heating issues aside, the Razr somehow makes a solid case for itself when it comes to competing with thin and premium smartphones like Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge. It's smaller, comes with enough dust and water resistance this year and has cameras that somehow manage better image quality than the bar-shaped slim phone.

At the end of the day, all I think Motorola had to do to make me happy was make a flip phone without compromise. The Razr Ultra is that flip phone. I know how harsh this review sounds, but the Motorola Razr Ultra is far from a bad smartphone. It's by far the brand's best foldable hardware yet, finally matching the build quality seen on Samsung's hardware. But with Motorola seemingly distracted by AI — along with the rest of the industry — I just don't see enough changes here to justify this price point. It's a lovely smartphone, but when you get a very similar experience for nearly half the cost with the regular Razr, I struggle to see who should even consider buying this phone. If Motorola had used the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite to, say, guarantee five or more OS upgrades, or refreshed the cover screen's software, or slimmed the entire chassis down, I think I'd have an easier time recommending the Razr Ultra, even at its full $1,300 price.

Both the external and internal displays have seen improvements to peak brightness, the battery is larger and charges faster, the hinge has been reinforced to improve durability and there’s been a performance boost too, all of which contribute to making this a superb flip phone. The Android update promise is disappointing and I’d rather have a telephoto lens than ultra-wide but the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has a lovely design, great displays, decent camera results, a solid battery life and superb performance. There is very, very little not to love.

If you want the very best flip phone for your money, however, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is an easy recommendation. Even with its minor issues, the Razr 60 Ultra offers several significant upgrades over the previous generation, delivering the best performance and stamina we’ve seen from a flip phone thus far, along with an incredibly bright display, excellent cameras and once again, the best cover screen in the business. It’s going to take some fancy footwork for Samsung to come close to this quality, let alone surpass it.

Motorola may thrive in the midrange with phones like the Moto G Stylus 2025, but the company is clearly feeling itself with the Razr. The Razr Ultra 2025 represents the absolute best of Motorola, from its iconic design to its impressive specs and a fun suite of AI features. The partnership with Pantone is clearly paying off, as evident by the display and camera improvements, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite gives the Razr a new edge as a premium Android smartphone. Of course, the price tag may be hard for some to justify, and the update promise could be better if you don’t plan on upgrading in the next three or four years. However, I feel like the positives easily outweigh the negatives and the Razr Ultra 2025 is easily one of the best foldables… no, one of the best phones of 2025.

Let’s face it, flip phones aren’t for everyone. I’m not a huge fan of flip phones myself, as I’d rather have a book-style foldable. Where I can have a full-size phone, and then open it and get more of a tablet-sized display. But the Razr is a flip phone I could definitely use as my daily driver, largely because of everything they’ve done with that Cover Display. Allowing you to use any Android app on the Cover Display is really nice, and it means I don’t have to open the phone every time I want to use it, or doom scroll on X.

The Razr Ultra comes with three years of software support and four years for security updates. And that is disappointing, especially for the price. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 that costs $1,100 has seven years support for both. I realize that most people keep their phones for an average of two and a half years, but when you're paying $1,300 for a phone, you should be able to use it past 2029 without issues. I really like the Motorola Razr Ultra, but it's hard to recommend for $1,300. If you're comfortable with the limited software support and serviceable cameras, then go for the phone. It's fun to use, looks sharp, built well and probably one of the most unique phones you can buy today. But I think most people looking for a Razr foldable will be fine with the Motorola Razr Plus. It's still $1,000, and currently on sale, and is largely the same as when it came out in 2024.

I’ve yet to commit long term to using a flip-style phone, but the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is making a strong case to make me ditch my Galaxy Z Fold 6. That’s because this compact, ultra sleek foldable phone is turbocharged in nearly every way over last year’s Razr Plus 2024. Like I’ve said already, it’s the most powerful and longest lasting foldable phone I’ve come across. For all the flip phone benefits, it comes with some familiar flip phone drawbacks. The inner screen folds, sure, but it’s not as bright or sharp as those on the best slab-style phones. It’s reasonably durable, but dust is still a concern. You get an ultrawide and decent crop zoom to complement the main camera, but any other slab-style phone at this price comes with a dedicated telephoto lens. There are fewer tradeoffs than on previous flip phones, but they still exist. “Ultra” is in the eye of the beholder, really. If a flip phone with a stacked spec sheet and a gorgeous exterior finish sounds Ultra enough, this Razr will delight you. It’s hard to argue that case for anyone who’s more casually interested in a flip phone, especially considering the caliber of slab-style phone you could get for $1,300. But this phone is awfully special as an object, a tool, and a thing of beauty.

I liked the Razr Ultra. It’s a solid device and definitely an improvement over its predecessor. The phone would be great for selfie lovers and people who value flip-style foldable phones. However, $1,899.99 is pretty steep for this handset; I don’t know if I could recommend it at that price. You won’t be disappointed with the unit, but it seems pretty expensive. Overall, this is arguably the first true flagship foldable that you can buy. There are so few compromises to this phone that it's pretty easy to recommend. The price tag is a little on the painful side though, at $1,299.99 via Motorola on Amazon. That's a full $200 on top of Samsung's closest competition (for the next couple of months anyway). But for that price you're getting a phone with a bigger battery, better build quality, a better cover screen, more flexible software, and better cameras. That's a lot of "betters" so yes, this is an easy recommendation. Foldable phones don't come cheap, and this is the first true flagship phone that you can fold in half. That's a very big deal. I think the biggest miss in this generation of Razr is the lack of notable upgrades on the lower two devices, despite retaining the same price tag.

The Razr 60 Ultra doesn’t dramatically shake up Motorola’s flip phone formula – but then it didn’t really need to. No other clamshell is as convenient to use while closed, and the firm’s stripped-back take on Android remains first class once you open the thing up. The new AI additions are useful without being overwhelming, too. Moto has improved the hardware in all the right places, with stellar performance, simply superb real-world battery life, and a pair of cameras that legitimately challenge for class honours. The screens are suitably top-tier, and the eclectic mix of colours and materials give it some welcome extra personality. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will have a price advantage once the Z Flip7 arrives, but I doubt it’ll compete with the Motorola on battery or outer screen usability. It’s the Razer I’d rather have in my pocket.

But it's the battery tech that is more exciting, with a 4700mAh cell proving a massive upgrade vs the Moto 50 Ultra. No more power saver mode shenanigans unless you go camera crazy! Speaking of which, the Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra's dual 50MP optics are solid enough for everyday shooting. Moving subjects do often come out blurry, which is a shame. But you can capture sharp night shots, use an AI filter and record 4K HDR video too. The Motorola RAZR 2025 offers a slick cover screen that can do it pretty much all. But if you want to flip it open, inside you'll find a similarly gorgeous and pleasingly bright 7-inch pOLED.

By now, you can probably tell: we love the new Razr Ultra. It makes some meaningful upgrades in all the right places and while it lacks some of the AI magic of the Samsung's Galaxies, it is not too far behind. But compared to Samsung's flip phone, this one offers a much superior cover screen experience, which is crucial. The battery boost, fast charging speeds and zippy performance are all nice quality of life upgrades too. We don't think the camera is phenomenal, but it's better than before. The only downside of the Razr Ultra is its "ultra" price tag. The phone costs $1,300 for the base model with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, and we think that's a bit steep, but if you shop carefully and find a good deal, you will love this modern flip phone experience.

Motorola has not only doubled down on its flip-phone design leadership with exciting materials like real wood and Italian Alcantara, and refined color partnerships, but it has also decisively addressed key hardware shortcomings. The move to a true flagship processor, the doubled RAM/storage, the significantly larger battery with faster charging, and the promising, across-the-board camera sensor upgrades represent a major leap forward. The improved IP rating adds practical durability. The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra (or Razr Ultra in North America) is a thoroughly excellent small foldable that could very well be the best-performing specimen of its kind that we've seen to date. Its flaws are few, the most important being the aggressive CPU throttling. It robs the phone of some of the positives of having the best Android chipset currently available, and it's seemingly an inherent limitation of the model's thermal design. Maybe the relatively low maximum brightness of the display in manual operation also stems from thermal considerations as well. Other than that, the Razr's showing is class-leading in most respects. Battery life is excellent across the board, and charging remains best-in-class, as last year. The displays can, actually, put out plenty of nits when the ambient light calls for it - also scoring higher than the rest in that test.

That’s how much the company’s Razr Ultra costs. The highest-end model in Moto’s new trio of Razr phones, the Razr Ultra promises to deliver a premium foldable experience at a premium price. It looks virtually identical to the Razr Plus (save for fancier finishes) and focuses on better specs to improve the experience. Meanwhile, the regular Razr Plus and Razr have even smaller durability and faster performance upgrades compared to the Moto Razr (2024). As the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 quickly approaches, Motorola’s latest flip phones seem ready for the competition. While the upgrades year-over-year aren’t substantial, these seem like rock-solid foldables, at least at first glance.
