To sugerowałoby, że mamy do czynienia z bardzo przeciętnym smartfonem, ale nie byłby to słuszny wniosek. W rzeczywistości bowiem, pomimo paru bolączek, jest to – w moim odczuciu – smartfon nieprzeciętnie dobry. W związku z tym też jestem w stanie go z czystym sumieniem polecić i wystawić mu taką, a nie inną notę. Brak eSIM czy ładowania bezprzewodowego to minusy, które dla mnie nie stanowią powodu, by zrezygnować z zakupu. Zainstalowanych fabrycznie aplikacji da się zaś szybko pozbyć, a jakość dźwięku nie jest aż tak zła, no i inna sprawa, że i tak słucham raczej muzyki na słuchawkach, a wtedy możemy liczyć na obsługę i aptX Adaptive, i LDAC, i LHDC 5.0.

Szukając mocnego smartfona do 2500 zł, trudno dziś przejść obojętnie obok POCO F7 Pro. To model, który kontynuuje filozofię poprzednika: maksimum mocy w jak najniższej cenie. Mamy tu Snapdragona 8 Gen 3, który jeszcze długo nie straci na aktualności – zwłaszcza że większość konkurentów w tej półce cenowej oferuje zauważalnie słabsze układy. Do tego świetny ekran OLED, znakomita płynność i główny aparat, który pozytywnie zaskakuje – także przy 2-krotnym przybliżeniu. Wydajność to bez dwóch zdań najmocniejszy punkt tego modelu. Nie wszystko jednak zagrało idealnie. POCO wciąż nie oferuje ładowania bezprzewodowego, a ultraszerokokątny aparat to raczej wypełniacz niż realne wsparcie fotograficzne. Selfie? Powiedzmy, że są – i tyle.

The camera performs well too, but you also get a large bright screen, impressive battery life and even 8K video recording should you need it. Of course it’s not perfect. There’s no dedicated macro mode, low light shooting isn’t amazing, and there’s no telephoto lens. Still, for the price paid the results are pretty good. Probably the biggest downside here is the lack of availability in some big territories, such as the US – but if you’re in one of the places where this sells, it’s well worth a look.

But it also makes some sacrifices, featuring a year-old chipset and a pretty mediocre ultrawide camera. Oh, and there's no wireless charging on board. Then again, the phone comes with a 6,000 mAh battery and offers amazing battery life, and the overall aesthetics are also quite pleasing. At the end of the day, the price tag is the main drawback of this model. At 599 euros (just 100 down from the Ultra model), the sacrifices are too many to justify the cost. You can get a OnePlus 13R or wait for the upcoming Pixel 9a and probably get a better bang for your bucks.

I miss the days when Poco phones were different, and not another Xiaomi phone (but with round icons instead of square ones). Thankfully, the Poco F7 Pro remains a “flagship killer” like previous models, especially at its retail price (S$669 for 256GB and S$729 for 512GB). You get good performance with some flagship niceties at an attractive price. But the battery stamina is the highlight here. Get it now from Shopee and Lazada. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 offers ridiculous performance for the price, the 2K AMOLED screen is simply gorgeous, and battery life is top-tier. Add in 90W charging, IP68 water and dust resistance, and some smart AI features, and you’ve got one of the most well-rounded phones at this end of the market. Sure, the ultrawide camera is basic, there’s some bloatware to remove, and I would love to see a brighter display that you can actually use outdoors – but these are nitpicks in the face of what you’re getting overall. With such an aggressive price, I think that the F7 Pro is one of the best value buys of 2025. If you care more about everyday speed, battery, and visuals than bleeding-edge camera features, the Poco F7 Pro is the phone to beat. Just be sure that the more expensive Poco F7 Ultra wouldn’t suit you better.

In the end, I’m a bit torn with the Poco F7 Ultra. Yes, it’s Poco’s most powerful phone to date, and it has a strong spec sheet. For one, its processor feels like it’s underclocked compared to other Snapdragon 8 Elite phones like the OnePlus 13 and Honor Magic 7 Pro. Alternatives at this cost include OPPO's Reno 13 Pro 5G (see review next week!), the Nothing Phone 2 and Apple's iPhone 16e. But seriously, don't buy that. It's arse juice. The Poco F7 Ultra is a powerhouse with that 8 Elite chipset, so gamers will enjoy a smooth frame rate at all times. Battery life is also excellent, even if the capacity isn't a match for the Redmi K80 Pro. With 120W fast charge on board, this phone powers back up in a crazy short time. As for the camera tech, well, the Poco F7 Ultra has made some sacrifices there vs proper 'Ultra' smartphones. The zoom lens isn't as capable, while you can't shoot 4K video with the selfie camera. Still, most people should be happy enough with the Poco F7 Ultra's skills.

With the F7 Ultra coming in at a starting price of £650, as a phone with flagship specs, it beats the Pixel 9 which is priced the same currently on Google's store, it also beats the Galaxy S25 512GB which Samsung wants £959 for at the time of writing. The F7 Ultra is a better phone between these devices given its price and genuine flagship performance. I am sure that most people looking for a phone with the power and speed of a true flagship will not be too concerned about some highlight detail bneing lost in scenes when taking photos, but for those who spend a lot of time taking photos and videos, this will definitely be an issue and I do hope Xiaomi is listening to this feedback, as it will only enhance the potential customer base in the long run and finally we would see a true contender for ultimate flagship phone, without the crazy prices the big three brands out there are wanting these days.

Otherwise, the screen, battery life and charging speeds are all top notch. It’s a pleasure to use, and so long as you’re not too picky with your photos, you’re in for an excellent time.

In the end, I’m a bit torn with the Poco F7 Ultra. Yes, it’s Poco’s most powerful phone to date, and it has a strong spec sheet. But I don’t think it lives up to that promise of an ‘Ultra’ phone in the way Poco would like you to think. For one, its processor feels like it’s underclocked compared to other Snapdragon 8 Elite phones like the OnePlus 13 and Honor Magic 7 Pro. The 120W charging speeds don’t seem to refill the phone as quickly as it should, and the camera system is inconsistent, and not as strong as what you’d find in the more expensive ‘Ultra’ phones. That’s without mentioning the Wi-Fi connectivity issues I experienced during testing. Still, it delivers on the typical Poco benchmarks.

Alternatives at this cost include OPPO's Reno 13 Pro 5G (see review next week!), the Nothing Phone 2 and Apple's iPhone 16e. But seriously, don't buy that. It's arse juice. The Poco F7 Ultra is a powerhouse with that 8 Elite chipset, so gamers will enjoy a smooth frame rate at all times. Battery life is also excellent, even if the capacity isn't a match for the Redmi K80 Pro. With 120W fast charge on board, this phone powers back up in a crazy short time. As for the camera tech, well, the Poco F7 Ultra has made some sacrifices there vs proper 'Ultra' smartphones. The zoom lens isn't as capable, while you can't shoot 4K video with the selfie camera. Still, most people should be happy enough with the Poco F7 Ultra's skills.

The POCO F7 supports 90W wired charging (Xiaomi's HyperCharge technology). When using a compatible adapter (unfortunately, purchased separately), the F7 charges very quickly. Xiaomi promises 80% in 30 minutes. A full cycle from 0 to 100% takes about 37 minutes with the screen off and maximum charging mode activated. The POCO F7 doesn't have wireless charging - this is one of the compromises the manufacturer made. However, there is a nice bonus: reverse wired charging with a capacity of 22.5 W is supported. That is, the POCO F7 can be used as a power bank and charge another smartphone or accessories from it. The POCO F7 can be recommended to those who are primarily looking for a fast platform, a large screen, and a high-capacity battery in a smartphone. In these parameters, it can really compete with more expensive models. However, if camera capabilities are important to you, this model has fairly basic shooting capabilities.

The Poco F7 slots nicely in the F7 series lineup. It offers snappy and fast performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a gorgeous and very bright 6.83-inch screen, and a main camera that gets the job done. On the other hand, some corners have been cut to achieve the starting price of $399 ($339 with an early bird deal). There's no wireless charging on board, the ultrawide camera and overall video quality are lacking, and the battery life is unimpressive given the huge battery. At the end of the day, the Poco F7 will have to go against phones such as the Pixel 9a and Galaxy A56, as well as its own kin in the face of the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra. It's cheaper than all of the above and gets the basics right, so if you don't mind the aforementioned cons, you can get a lot out of this guy.

The camera quality is generally good under different conditions, although the front camera could be improved. During the stress test, its temperature reached 53 degrees Celsius, which is concerning. Overall, there are several phones in the market with the same price, such as the Vivo T4 Ultra, iQOO Neo 10, Motorola Edge 60 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Civi, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, etc. You can compare the Poco F7 with these phones before buy. This is yet another quality Xiaomi mid-range smartphone boasting some of the best battery life of 2025. Gaming performance is respectable on the POCO F7 although the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 does heat up under a bit of pressure, when playing Wuthering Waves. Likewise, Xiaomi's HyperOS isn't for everyone and features like eSIM support are missing. However, for a budget-friendly mid-range price in the UK, Xiaomi's POCO F7 has a lot going for it. That AMOLED screen is a stunner and the design is an improvement on the Pro and Ultra, I reckon. Just go for the white rather than silver limited edition model if you hate fingerprints. The POCO F7's camera setup is limited, especially vs the Ultra or the Nothing Phone 3a duo. No telephoto zoom, just a basic ultra-wide shooter, that's it. All the same, you'll get good looking photos in most conditions, especially if you take your time and grab a couple of snaps just in case.

nie ze wszystkimi opcjami i nie w wysokiej rozdzielczości. Szczególnie

wymagające gry chodzą tylko na minimalnych ustawieniach, w wyniku

czego często mocno cierpi jakość grafiki. Układy z tej klasy powinny

zainteresować osoby rzadko grające w gry.

Qualcomm Adreno 750:

Układ graficzny do smartfonów i tabletów zintegrowany z procesorem Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Qualcomm twierdzi, że jest o 25% szybszy od Adreno 7340 w Snapdragonie 8 Gen 2, a pierwsze testy porównawcze pokazują, że GPU jest w stanie pokonać iGPU Apple A17 Pro.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Zintegrowana jednostka graficzna w Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC dla smartfonów z trzema plasterkami po 1,1 GHz każdy. Zintegrowane 12 MB współdzielonej pamięci podręcznej dla trzech układów. Według Qualcomm, 40% szybszy niż poprzednia generacja (Adreno 750).

SD 8 Elite: Wysokiej klasy SoC (System on a Chip) dla smartfonów, który został zaprezentowany pod koniec 2024 roku. Integruje on dwa szybkie rdzenie Oryon Gen 2 Prime o taktowaniu do 4,32 GHz i 6 mniejszych rdzeni Oryon Gen 2 Performance o taktowaniu do 3,53 GHz.
