Realme 16 okazał się dla mnie pozytywnym zaskoczeniem. Spodziewałem się urządzenia, w którym postawiono na znajomą dla oka stylistykę i pojedynczą sztuczkę w postaci „lusterka wstecznego” po to, aby odpuścić sobie solidne podstawy w pozostałych kategoriach. Tymczasem szesnastka nie potrzebuje tego, aby zasłużyć na solidną ocenę w teście. Zaskakuje czasem pracy, komfortowymi proporcjami czy UI, w którym personalizacji ekranu mogłyby się uczyć o wiele drożsi rywale. Nie ma co ukrywać, że jeden aparat z tyłu, który nie w każdym scenariuszu daje radę, słabe głośniki czy lusterko wymagające nauki mogą odstraszyć osoby szukające prawdziwego wszechstronnego kombajnu. Część z tych zarzutów to po prostu kompromisy, na które trzeba iść, jeżeli chce się zaoferować coś w konkurencyjnej cenie. A że czasy mamy niełatwe, to i trudniej stworzyć coś budżetowego i równie dobrego, co konstrukcje sprzed roku czy dwóch.

Jest to chyba znak czasów. Rosnące ceny komponentów w obliczu kryzysu technologicznego wywołanego przez AI, zmuszają do szukania kompromisów w przedziwnych miejscach i silnie to uzależniając od rynku. Nasza bateria jest nie tylko mniejsza niż w Chinach, lecz i ładuje wolniej. Co więcej, wyświetlacz został pozbawiony swojej częstotliwości sprzed roku, zamiast 144 Hz, mamy tylko 120 Hz. Co więcej dawniej oferowano i więcej RAMu, a nawet wyższej jakości wideo. Realme 16 5G niestety nie jest pozycją, na którą jest się łatwo skusić, nie na swojej półce cenowej, gdzie staje do konkurencji o uwagę klietna przeciwko Nothing Phonowi 4a (1599 złotch na promocjach), a nawet własnej rodzinie telefonów! Realme miewa promocje na wariant Realme 16 Pro 5G, który oferuje 4 razy lepszy aparat główny i jaśniejszy wyświetlacz za 100 złotych więcej. Niemniej, z promocjami w ramach abonamentu, gdy zbliża się do granicy smartfona za około 1000 złotych, na pewno warto go rozważyć, gdy przyjdzie pora kupić telefon z myślą o dzwonienie i utrzymywania kontaktu przy pomocy komunikatorów. Do tego się sprawdzi świetnie, a i wygląda naparawdę flagowo oraz leży w dłoni na medal. Telefon jest już teraz dostępny u operatorów sieci komórkowych, lecz za niecały miesiąc będzie i w ofercie wielu sklepów.

Realme 16 5G – recenzja. Za drogi jak na to co potrafi?

Realme 16 5G to smartfon, który idealnie pokazuje, jak wyglądają współczesne kompromisy na średniej półce cenowej. Patrząc na ten model przez pryzmat suchych faktów, moim zdaniem jest on po prostu zbyt drogi jak na to, co ostatecznie oferuje. Kwota rzędu 1400–1600 zł za telefon z tak niską wydajnością i wybrakowanym aparatem może wywoływać opór. Niestety, rynkowa rzeczywistość jest bezwzględna i musimy się z tym pogodzić – nowe smartfony będą już tylko coraz droższe, a to, co kiedyś było standardem w tej cenie, dziś staje się towarem luksusowym. Producent nie próbował stworzyć urządzenia idealnego w każdym aspekcie, ale mamy tu cechy, na którym części użytkownikom może mocno zależeć. Mam na myśli ekran AMOLED, pojemną baterię i długi czas pracy oraz odporność na pył i wodę (IP68/IP69K). Nie można też zapominać o wsparciu dla karty microSD, o którym w większości smartfonów, zwłaszcza tych flagowych, można pomarzyć. Haczyki ukryto tam, gdzie ucierpieć musiała czysta wydajność oraz wszechstronność. Procesor MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo w połączeniu ze starszą pamięcią UFS 2.2 nie polubi się z wymagającymi graczami, a brak obiektywu ultraszerokokątnego, stabilizacji OIS czy nagrywania w 4K rozczaruje fanów mobilnej fotografii.

Nowość od realme nie imponuje może ogromną wydajnością czy zestawem niesamowitych aparatów fotograficznych, ale ma kilka atutów, dzięki którym całość zwyczajnie może się podobać zwykłym Kowalskim. Na plus wypada zaliczyć przyjemną dla oka i całkiem praktyczną obudowę, jasny ekran AMOLED o przyzwoitych parametrach czy ogromną baterię 6550 mAh, która powinna zapewnić nawet kilka dni działania. Docenić należy również przyzwoite aparaty fotograficzne, które zapewnią ładne i pełne detali zdjęcia dzienne, a przy okazji sprawdzą się w trybach portretowych. Inne plusy tego smartfona to obsługa karty microSD, port podczerwieni do sterowania innymi urządzeniami czy obsługa eSIM. I wszystko byłoby super, gdyby nie to, że obecna cena sugerowana tego urządzenia to aż 1699 zł... W ostatnich miesiącach omawialiśmy już na naszych łamach podobnie wyceniane urządzenia i wszystkie z nich były znacznie wydajniejsze, a przy tym oferowały bardziej imponujący zestaw aparatów, gdzie główna jednostka znacznie lepiej radziła sobie po zmroku i oferowała OIS. Ba, w tej półce trafiają się już nawet modele z teleobiektywem! Jeśli więc często robisz zdjęcia i nagrywasz wideo, a także cenisz responsywnie działanie smartfona niezależnie od zastosowania, warto rozważyć inne opcje, jak np. Samsung Galaxy A56/A57 5G czy Nothing Phone (4a). Jeśli jednak to właśnie realme 16 5G wydaje Ci się odpowiednim wyborem, zalecałbym poczekać na lepszą cenę. Niektórzy operatorzy powoli zaczynają schodzić z ceny (np. Orange obniżyło ją do 1399 zł), natomiast gdy tylko model trafi do normalnej sprzedaży - co powinno nastąpić w lipcu tego roku - równolegle ma wystartować specjalna promocja, a zatem omawiany telefon prędzej czy później okaże się bardziej opłacalny.

Unikalne lustro do selfie, podwójne 50 Mpix, zaawansowane algorytmy AI i mnóstwo kreatywnych funkcji edycji sprawiają, że to świetne narzędzie dla fanów Instagrama, TikToka i relacji wideo. Ekran AMOLED 120 Hz, bardzo wysoka jasność i IP69K dopełniają obraz telefonu, który ma być „zawsze gotowy”, niezależnie od warunków.
