Lots has been written about how Intel burned its performance bridges to deliver exceptional power efficiency on the Core Ultra 200 series, and this machine somewhat underlines those views in dayglo marker pen. That said, for those who use laptops like the HP EliteBook Ultra G1i, that it isn't as powerful as an older 13th-generation Intel mobile chip in some scenarios is pure semantics. For them, this is an elegant and powerful tool that is easy to carry, recharges quickly and lasts an inordinate amount of time on its battery. My only niggle with it is that HP appear to have soured with 3rd party bloatware on its machines, and has now created a swath of its own branded software to bug its customers with. These include its own AI Companion (Beta), the HP support Assistant, and now it has created HP Wolf Security.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro is this laptop’s closest rival, coming with a similar price and set of components, with remarkably similar performance. Its OLED screen also offers even stronger contrast and deeper blacks, while you also get a much better set of inputs with HDMI and a microSD reader. In addition, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 features a better set of ports and similar power with the Ryzen 7 AI 360 chip inside – it lacks an OLED panel, though. Overall, the Elitebook Ultra G1i is a fantastic business laptop if you want a svelte and stylish one with solid power and a gorgeous display, although I think Samsung’s is just slightly more complete. Intel Arc 140V: Całkiem szybka zintegrowana karta graficzna, którą podobno wykorzystują niektóre procesory Intel Lunar Lake. 140V posiada 8 rdzeni architektury Xe² pracujących z częstotliwością do 2 050 MHz i 8 jednostek ray tracingu; obsługuje DirectX 12 Ultimate, a także wszystkie nowoczesne kodeki wideo. Jeśli ostatnie wyniki benchmarków są jakąś wskazówką, jego wydajność w grach będzie nieco lepsza niż w przypadku GeForce MX570.
Karty z tej kategorii są w stanie pociągnąć płynnie najnowsze gry, ale
nie ze wszystkimi opcjami i nie w wysokiej rozdzielczości. Szczególnie
wymagające gry chodzą tylko na minimalnych ustawieniach, w wyniku
czego często mocno cierpi jakość grafiki. Układy z tej klasy powinny
