Intel Pentium bez wentylatora. Lenovo V14 G2 kosztuje tylko 329 dolarów (256 GB), jest wyposażony w pasywne chłodzenie i oferuje dobrą klawiaturę oraz różne opcje rozbudowy. Dzięki czterordzeniowemu procesorowi Intel Pentium Silver N6000 jest wystarczający do zadań biurowych. Priorytetem może być jednak zastosowanie zewnętrznego monitora.

W modelu V14 Gen 2 firma Lenovo prezentuje niedrogi laptop biurowy skierowany do segmentu podstawowego. W naszej recenzji wyjaśniamy, jakich zalet i wad można się spodziewać po laptopie z pasywnym chłodzeniem, sparowanym z czterordzeniowym procesorem Intel Pentium Silver N6000.

Jest on bardzo podobny do podobnie przystępnego cenowo IdeaPad 3 14IIL05. 8 GB pamięci RAM można rozbudować do 16 GB i zamontować dwa dyski SSD (M.2-2280 + 2,5 cala). Wyświetlacz FullHD naszego modelu wykorzystuje starzejącą się technologię TN i choć dostępne są modele z matrycą IPS (wg specyfiki), to w rzeczywistości są one niezwykle trudne do zdoby

cia.


Cenowo laptop kosztuje około 329 dolarów za model z 256GB. Alternatywnie V14 G2 jest wyposażony w mocniejsze procesory, takie jak Core i5-1135G7 lub również Ryzen 5 5500U heksa-rdzeniowy procesor, który już recenzowaliśmy w większym Lenovo V15 Gen 2. Bezpośrednią konkurencję można znaleźć w postaci Acer Swift 1 oraz Asus ExpertBook L1.

Obudowa i funkcje: Rozszerzalna pamięć RAM i Gigabit Ethernet

W kolorze czarnym Lenovo V14 okazuje się solidny dzięki antypoślizgowej powierzchni, ale jest trochę magnesem na odciski palców. Pokrywa wyświetlacza mogłaby być nieco sztywniejsza, a jednostkę bazową można wykręcić tylko trochę. Zawiasy są ciasne i nie pozwalają na otwarcie urządzenia jedną ręką, ale jednak otwiera się ono pod kątem 180°.

Kompaktowy, 14-calowy laptop o 88-procentowym stosunku ekranu do ciała waży tylko 1,32 kg, w przeciwieństwie do deklarowanych przez producenta 1,6 kg. Moduł WiFi, bateria, pamięć RAM (1 slot) i dysk SSD M.2 mogą być wymieniane, a dodatkowo można zamontować 2,5-calowy dysk SSD. W poprzedniku pominięto czytnik kart SD, ale pozostał Gigabit RJ45 i jeden port USB-A 2.0. Drugi port USB-A został zastąpiony przez port USB-C.

Układ WiFi 5 firmy Realtek jest dość ślamazarny i przesyła dane z prędkością tylko około 243 MB/s, gdy układy WiFi 6E potrafią wykonać zadanie wielokrotnie szybciej.

Urządzenia wejściowe: Solidna klawiatura Lenovo z przeciętnym skokiem klawiszy

Zastosowana tu klawiatura jest podobna do tej odpornej na zalanie, którą znajdziemy w IdeaPad 3 14. Podobnie jak w obecnych ThinkPadach Lenovo, bardzo ciche, niepodświetlane klawisze o wymiarach 16 x 16 mm posiadają średni skok ~1,5 mm. Wrażenia z pisania są zadziwiająco dobre, punkt nacisku jest wyraźny, a jednostka klawiatury pozbawiona jest ugięć.

Bardzo mała plastikowa powierzchnia touchpada jest gładka w dotyku, ale zintegrowane przyciski muszą być mocno naciskane, co oznacza, że rejestrują się niezwykle późno.

W 14-calowym, matowym wyświetlaczu FullHD o formacie 16:9 zastosowano przestarzałą technologię TN. Oznacza to, że wyświetlana zawartość jest bardzo zależna od kąta patrzenia, a kolory są słabe, z 55% pokryciem przestrzeni barw sRGB. Przy 231 cd/m² nie tylko jasność jest dość niska, ale i kontrast, który wynosi 631:1. Przy wartości 10,4 wartości Delta E różnią się znacznie i obrazy mają bardzo niebieski odcień. Nie ma więc mowy o jakimkolwiek przetwarzaniu obrazu, ale przynajmniej nie występuje migotanie PWM.

Podsumowując, V14 Gen 2 powinien być używany przede wszystkim jako stacjonarny komputer podłączony do zewnętrznego wyświetlacza. Alternatywą może być IdeaPad 3 lub Acer Swift 1 należy rozważyć, gdyż oba laptopy Asusa w naszej tabeli porównawczej również wykorzystują wyświetlacze TN. Według arkusza specyfikacji dostępny jest jaśniejszy IPS, ale w rzeczywistości są one niezwykle trudne do zdobycia.

Typowa dla paneli TN stabilność kątów widzenia jest bardzo słaba i psuje wrażenia użytkownika w niemal wszystkich codziennych przypadkach użycia. Dlatego przede wszystkim zalecalibyśmy korzystanie z laptopa z monitorem zewnętrznym.

Wydajność: Czterordzeniowy procesor Pentium Silver jest wystarczający do zadań biurowych

Lenovo V14 Gen 2 jest przeznaczony do zadań biurowych i surfowania po internecie. Pamięć RAM DDR4 o pojemności 8 GB można zamienić na moduł 16 GB i jest to maksimum, jakie oferuje wbudowany procesor Intel Pentium Silver N6000 może obsługiwać. Ponadto nie jest możliwa konfiguracja dwukanałowa, gdyż jest tylko jedno gniazdo RAM, a jednocześnie żaden element pamięci RAM nie jest lutowany.

Zintegrowany układ Intel UHD Graphics (32 EU) również cierpi z tego powodu. Model z Core-i7 może być wyposażony w GeForce MX350. Modele z procesorami Intel Core o oznaczeniu do.i7-1135G7i procesory AMD doRyzen 5 5500Uhexa-core, można wyposażyć w maksymalnie 40 GB pamięci RAM i włączyć tryb dual-channel.

Warunki badania

Trzy tryby wydajności systemu Windows nie mają wpływu na limity wydajności procesora wynoszące 16 W PL2 i 7 W PL1. Tak jest również w trybie akumulatorowym. Do naszych benchmarków wybraliśmy jednak tryb wydajnościowy, a do testu żywotności baterii WiFi - tryb zrównoważony.

Procesor

Intel's Pentium Silver N6000 to ekonomiczny czterordzeniowy procesor o 6-watowym TDP przeznaczony do budżetowych laptopów. Wydajność wielordzeniowa jest mniej więcej na tym samym poziomie co siedmioletni i5 6300Ui jest porównywalna z N6000 w Acer Swift 1. DwurdzeniowyCeleron 6305znajdujący się wIdeaPad 3jest znacznie wolniejszy.

Recenzowaliśmy już m.in.Ryzen 5 5500U, znajdujący się obecnie w większym Lenovo V15 Gen 2który ma ponad czterokrotnie wyższą wydajność wielordzeniową. Na stronie .Core i5-1135G7, który również jest dostępny, jest średnio 2,5 razy szybszy. Obie alternatywy mają też nos przed Pentium Silver w dziedzinie wydajności jednordzeniowej.

Do sprzedaży trafiła również Toshiba / Kioxia BG4 o pojemności 512 GB to dysk SSD PCIe 3.0 w małym formacie M.2 2242. Można też zastosować dysk SSD M.2 2280 i dysk twardy 2,5 cala, ale konieczny jest zakup dodatkowego kabla połączeniowego do płyty głównej.

Transfery są przeciętne, o niskich wartościach 4K, a po kilku minutach dysk SSD jest dławiony do połowy prędkości z powodu przegrzania. Jest to jednak naprawdę odczuwalne tylko w codziennym użytkowaniu podczas kopiowania dużych ilości danych z wieloma małymi plikami.

W naszym teście Intel Lenovo V14 Gen 2 wykazał się wystarczającą mocą do zadań biurowych i internetowych, ale ograniczonymi możliwościami wielozadaniowości.

Jego potencjał został jednak zmarnowany przez uniemożliwienie konfiguracji dwukanałowej pamięci RAM, mimo że można ją podwoić, dodając moduł 16 GB. Pasywne chłodzenie jest środkiem oszczędnościowym, którego pozytywnym efektem ubocznym jest całkowicie bezgłośna praca systemu.
