OnePlus 15 to znów bardzo udany flagowiec marki, który w zdecydowanej większości aspektów wypada co najmniej bardzo dobrze, a w części wprost świetnie. W efekcie – pozytywów jest tu znacznie więcej niż wad i braków. Świetnie wypada czas pracy na baterii, bo wręcz pozwala zapomnieć o codziennym ładowaniu, doskonała jest wydajność, ekran, wibracje i jakość wykonania wraz z tymi kapitalnymi, nierysującymi się pleckami. Bardzo dobry jest z kolei ogólna jakość zdjęć, która spokojnie zadowoli większość użytkowników, choć nie ma tu widocznego progresu względem poprzednika i nie jest to poziom przybliżający się do topowych modeli. Gdzie wady? Główny aparat OnePlusa 15 zaliczył techniczny regres względem trzynastki i to stanowi chyba jeden z największych stawianych mu zarzutów. Pełną prędkość ładowania uzyskamy tylko z dedykowaną ładowarką, której w zestawie nie ma.

Tylko dobre głośniki też trudno uznać za dyskwalifikację… Tymczasem za maksymalnie 4399 złotych dostaniesz: niesamowite podzespoły, idealną kulturę pracy, topowy ekran, jedną z najlepszych baterii na świecie i pełną odporność na wodę. Model 15 przybliża OnePlus do pierwszych modeli, które były nazywane zabójcami flagowców. Sprzęt oferuje przyzwoite aparaty, świetny ekran i pojemny akumulator. Wyróżnia się także atrakcyjny design, a przede wszystkim genialny procesor. Niestety nie ma sprzętów idealnych, natomiast przegrzewanie się nie jest problemem, z którym spotykałem się na co dzień. Brak Alert Slidera będą wypominać głównie fani marki. Największym minusem względem najdroższej konkurencji są nieco gorsze zdjęcia.

Tyle tylko, że omawiane urządzenie i tak nie jest wcale takie tanie. 3999 zł za podstawowy model z 256 GB pamięci wewnętrznej - nawet z darmowym smartwatchem OnePlus Watch 3 w ramach oferty przedsprzedażowej, którego przecież nie każdy potrzebuje - to nadal sporo. Mając taką gotówkę można już myśleć np. o iPhonie 17 (jeśli ktoś preferuje iOS-a), typowym fotosmartfonie w stylu HONOR-a Magic7 Pro czy nawet Samsungu Galaxy S25 Ultra z rysikiem w zestawie.

The OnePlus 15 is a great surprise: it's the best-looking (and best-feeling) Android phone I've handled in 2025; and with battery life that's so far ahead of most competitors, it's simply a stellar handset. It's keenly priced in context to other flagships, and while that results in a camera setup that's the weaker link here – and could have some bearing on its appeal – it's still a fair setup for the money. Where available, the Oppo Find X9's enhanced camera offering is hard to ignore, mind. OnePlus is often seen as the underdog. But in the OnePlus 15 it proves why it's shoulder to shoulder with the established players – offering superb performance, better battery life, and a finish that's like no other right now. It's simply great.

Combining that fit and finish with the Triple Core engine, 7300mAh battery, and 165hz screen, and you have a phone that should be capable of laptop level performance for most people. The only elephant in the room is the new design language and many hours of engineering that were focused on obvious copying of Apple. And interconnectivity with them as well. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means. There’s a ton of features that make this the best Android phone of 2025 on paper, but many will take these interesting choices made by the OnePlus team to heart.

That really is the question to be answered because this is not the phone for everyone, at least I don’t think it is. It’s for heavy mobile gamers. It’s for those who need (or want) true 2-day battery life. It’s not going to be for photographers or those who take as many pictures as they possibly can. The camera system just doesn’t deliver at this point. That really is the question to be answered because this is not the phone for everyone, at least I don’t think it is. It’s for heavy mobile gamers. It’s for those who need (or want) true 2-day battery life. It’s for those who appreciate modern smartphone design and who want software packed with so many features that you’ll regularly discover new capabilities. It’s not going to be for photographers or those who take as many pictures as they possibly can. The camera system just doesn’t deliver at this point. It’s definitely not for those who start their smartphone sessions from the lock screen. It’s also not for those who plan to keep their phone for more than 4 years.

In using the OnePlus 15, I was frequently reminded of the last OnePlus phone I reviewed, the OnePlus 7 Pro. At the time, it was the company’s most expensive device ever, coming in at the same $750 price as the iPhone XR and Galaxy S10e. The appeal of that phone was its speedy Snapdragon 855 processor and the fact it was one of the first smartphones with a 90Hz AMOLED screen. It was also the first OnePlus phone with a camera that was more than just serviceable. All these years later, the appeal of the OP15 feels similar. It’s a phone for those who value speed over everything else. The tricky thing about this phone is judging its value when its price could change tomorrow. As I mentioned earlier, in the US the OP15 will start at $900, with OnePlus warning pricing for both models could “change due to current market conditions.”

It’s that it does so in a normal package with a big screen and powerful chip that sets it apart from the competition. The compromise in all this positivity is in the camera. It’s not bad, but you will find a lot better cameras on the back of other phones. If photography is top of your list, above battery life, looking at a different phone would be wise.

Among these camera samples you'll find zoom photos captured with the OnePlus 15 telephoto lens, from a ridiculous distance. I also tried to shoot a bunch of low light and night images, going the extra mile by drinking a few strong Czech pints to really test that stabilisation. The full embargo on reviews for the OnePlus 15 lifts in November, so I'll be able to share my in-depth thoughts then. The plan is to use it as my full time phone for over a week before then, including more time away, to really test the performance, battery life and camera tech. Plus Key i Mind Space z integracją Gemini mają sens, choć brak synchronizacji w chmurze na razie studzi entuzjazm. Aktualizacje przez cztery wersje Androida i sześć lat zabezpieczeń to solidny standard, choć konkurencja już zdążyła podnieść poprzeczkę. OnePlus 15R kosztuje tyle, ile powinien kosztować „niemal flagowiec”. Jeśli priorytetem jest fotografia, propozycja OPPO będzie lepszym wyborem. Jeśli jednak liczy się wydajność, ekran i bateria – to bardzo dobrze zbalansowany pakiet.

Producent z sobie tylko znanych powodów (choć można się ich domyślać) osłabił tegoroczną generację, choć nie zabrakło w niej mocnych atutów. OnePlus 15R to smartfon, który daje na co dzień dużo zadowolenia – atrakcyjnie wygląda, jest solidnie wykonany (Plus za wysokie normy wytrzymałości jak z modelu flagowego, wcześniej było tylko IP65), ma świetny ekran, a nowy Snapdragon daje tyle mocy, co flagowce starszej generacji. Smartfon świetnie sprawdza się jako narzędzie komunikacyjne (plus za eSIM), czy to w rozmowach głosowych, czy podczas korzystania z internetu przez 5G lub Wi-Fi. Mocnym atutem jest ogromny akumulator, przekładający się na długi czas pracy. Wielu użytkowników doceni też bogaty system z funkcjami AI.

Z jednej strony to niemalże wydajnościowa bestia z akumulatorem, który zawstydza większość konkurencji. 7400 mAh i Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 to duet, który sprawia, że dla graczy i osób intensywnie korzystających z telefonu (ale niekoniecznie z aparatu) będzie to wybór niemal idealny. Jego ekran AMOLED zachwyca płynnością i jasnością, a jakość wykonania nie budzi wątpliwości. Cięcia kosztów są tu jednak bolesne. Brak teleobiektywu, który był obecny w poprzedniku, to krok wstecz, który trudno zaakceptować. Do tego dochodzą przeciętne głośniki i brak ładowania indukcyjnego. Jeśli szukasz smartfonu, który przetrwa starcie z wodą i nigdy nie dostanie zadyszki, będziesz z niego zadowolony. Przez długi czas testów w mojej głowie tliła się taka myśl: skoro OnePlus 15R w tak wielu aspektach wypada podobnie do OnePlusa 15, to po co przepłacać? Przecież w praktyce jest w zasadzie tak samo samo szybki i responsywny, ma ekran o zbliżonych parametrach, na ogół robi zdjęcia o tej samej jakości, a czas pracy na jednym ładowaniu koniec końców okazuje się jeszcze dłuższy... Rzecz tylko w tym, że diabeł tkwi w szczegółach i prędzej czy później wymagający użytkownicy zwrócą uwagę, że mimo wszystko model 15R nie ma zbyt wiele wspólnego z typowymi flagowcami. Pomińmy już temat aparatów i możliwości nagrywania wideo (nawet topowa "piętnastka" raczej nie zadowoli pasjonatów fotografii), ale brak obsługi ładowania indukcyjnego, brak technologii LTPO, ograniczone złącze USB 2.0 i gorsza powłoka ochronna ekranu jasno wskazują, że nowy model OnePlusa wcale nie jest taki bezkompromisowy.

While there are clear chinks in the OnePlus 15R’s armour, collectively they’re small. So long as its lack of a telephoto camera, LTPS display tech, USB 2.0 speeds and middling haptics aren’t dealbreakers, the OnePlus 15R is otherwise a complete high-end package that gets you most of the way to the full-fat OnePlus 15 experience. Even if I don’t agree with them all, I think OnePlus made the right compromises, as what’s left still wholly impresses, particularly the combination of sustained performance and the 165Hz display party trick for gamers. The phone’s outstanding battery longevity and clean user experience are to be commended too. For your money, you could opt for the Galaxy S25 FE (which I’ve already compared to the 15R), or the Google Pixel 10 (which is starting to see price reductions), both of which pack superior photography skills but otherwise weaker hardware. There’s also the more affordable (but marginally more compromised) Poco F8 Pro, which I also recently reviewed.

There are better options outside of OnePlus’s portfolio, too. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE ($534.99 at Samsung) wasn’t our favorite phone of 2025, but it’s a much better product for the mid-tier flagship space that the OnePlus 15R is trying to compete in. Samsung’s phone has much more cohesive software, seven years of Android updates, and good battery life/charging. The $650 price tag is already lower than the 15R, and it’s not uncommon to find it on sale for dramatically less. It feels weird to be so down on the OnePlus 15R when its much more successful predecessor launched in the US less than 12 months ago and in the same calendar year, but that’s where we’re at. I love seeing OnePlus push the battery envelope as it has with the 15R, but that alone isn’t enough to justify the rest of the phone’s shortcomings — especially when it’s as expensive as it is.

Between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and the enormous 7,400mAh battery, nobody can accuse the OnePlus 15R of slacking in the hardware department. Performance is excellent, there’s gaming power to spare and the battery life is looking to be some of the best I’ve ever recorded. Which makes the lack of a telephoto camera all the more frustrating. If OnePlus could have nailed the camera offering, too, this could have been the best mid-range phone around. As it stands, the OnePlus 15R is a great pick for those who prioritise performance and stamina over photography, but it’s not quite strong enough to unseat the best picks in its price range.

A price hike is often all it takes to sour what is otherwise an easy-to-recommend phone. And the OnePlus 15R shuffles right up to the line with a $100 price increase, rebates and pre-order offers aside. The refocus of the OnePlus 15R from a generalist flagship to a gaming-focused one has made the phone a more niche device as a result.That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, and with its big chip upgrade and more responsive display, the OnePlus 15R certainly fits in with the gaming phone crowd while also standing out from phones in the same general price bracket. While other brands may tout their phones' performance, I can't imagine Apple, Google or Samsung launching a gaming-specific handset in the current tech climate. I know I'd never buy a OnePlus 15R for myself. I'd either save up for the OnePlus 15 or turn to a cheaper Pixel 9a.

In short, the OnePlus 15R is the phone for people who don't care about photos and videos. That's the same conclusion I came to with the OP15. If you're a OnePlus fan, the 15R excels in all the areas you would expect the company's devices to make a good showing: performance, battery life and display responsiveness. Given I wasn't too impressed with the OP15's camera, I would actually recommend the 15R over that model. For $200 off the starting price of the OP15, you're getting a device that has almost all of the same strengths of its more expensive sibling. Compared to other phones in its price range, such as the Pixel 10 and Galaxy S25 FE, the 15R is not as well-rounded, and can't compete with those devices in camera quality, but you're getting much better performance, battery life and a display they can't match.

I don't get what OnePlus wants to achieve with the 15R; earlier devices in the R series delivered a good value and exceled as all-rounders, but you just don't get that here. Yes, you get a massive battery and great performance, but that's the case with every phone. OnePlus deciding to not include a dedicated telephoto camera on the 15R basically kills the device, even if it has a decent 50MP main lens. To make things worse, the OnePlus 15R costs $699, a $100 increase over the 13R.

The OnePlus 15R is an excellent phone in some respects and merely adequate in others. The battery life is exceptional — truly best-in-class. Software is clean and functional, performance handles everything current apps and games demand, and the display is bright and smooth. But the camera system is only fine, not great, and the lack of wireless charging is frustrating at this price. If those things don't matter all that much to you and you have $700 to spend on a phone, then the OnePlus 15R is definitely worth considering.

The OnePlus 15R is a pretty good premium smartphone for the most part. It is well-built with all the IP ratings you can think of, the display is of good quality, the performance from the new chip is excellent, the speakers sound great, and the battery life is tremendous. Where the phone disappoints is in the camera. OnePlus dropped the telephoto camera after just one year. Meanwhile, the 8MP ultra-wide that should have been upgraded three years ago is still kicking around. And the selfie camera is losing to the one on the cheaper Nord 5. The main camera is good, but not good enough to make up for everything else happening here. The reason for this seems simple. With the OnePlus 13 generation, the 13R was different from the 13 in enough ways that even with a telephoto, the latter came across as a notably superior device.

I have mixed feelings about the OnePlus 15R, just like I did with the OnePlus 15. At $699 (and despite costing $100 more than the previous gen) it still offers great value, but OnePlus’ stubborn focus on performance results in some vexing compromises. While the OnePlus 15R boasts quality hardware, a lovely 165Hz display, solid performance, outstanding battery life, fast charging speeds, robust water/dust resistance, and excellent software, the downsides are difficult to ignore. First, the lack of telephoto shooter and the middling ultrawide significantly hamper camera versatility and imaging performance. Second, the iPhone-influenced design, LTPS screen, missing alert slider, and lack of wireless charging (which is available on cheaper handsets like Google's $499 Pixel 9a) all feel like steps in the wrong direction for a budget flagship.
