Szczegółowość nawet zdjęć wieczornych i nocnych jest na najwyższym poziomie, redukcja szumów działa poprawnie, a artefakty są praktycznie niewidoczne. Dźwięk stereo jest bogaty, głośny i przestrzenny. Wśród zalet wymieniamy również płatności zbliżeniowe NFC, obsługę sieci 5G i port podczerwieni. Brak usług Google trudno jednak zrekompensować – niektóre aplikacje po prostu nie działają. Jeśli jednak użytkownik zaakceptuje tę wadę, urządzenie będzie budzić u niego wyłącznie pozytywne emocje.

Brak nowoczesnych rozwiązań znanych z Androida 14/16, zaawansowanych funkcji i AI w wersji demo. Do tego brak Google Mobile Services sprawia, że telefon w Europie jest praktycznie skazany na życie w trybie ograniczonym – bez pełnego dostępu do aplikacji, synchronizacji i usług. Najgorsze jednak, że aktualizacje kończą się po dwóch wersjach, co w świecie, gdzie Google i Samsung oferują nawet siedem lat wsparcia, wygląda jak kpina. Nieco lepiej wypada bateria. Pojemność 5 170 mAh i szybkie ładowanie 100 W przewodowo / 80 W bezprzewodowo to konkret. Pełne naładowanie zajmuje zaledwie 39 minut, a w testach wytrzymałość 7 h 50 min plasuje telefon relatywnie wysoko.

I have managed to use it as my primary handset for the past week, but getting it set up is far from trivial, and once you have, there are still daily annoyances.I really missed being able to use Google Wallet for payments, and I missed Circle to Search, which has become second nature to me after using so many phones that offer the feature. Not being able to select 4K or HDR in the YouTube app was a buzzkill, too.That’s a crying shame, as otherwise, this phone is brilliant. The screen is excellent, when you find an app that can take advantage of it, and the speakers are among the best, too.

There’s only so much Huawei can do in-house, and without access to current-gen components, the firm has fallen behind on performance and battery life. Another top-tier Huawei cameraphone, another conundrum about what to make of it. As a proper flagship device, the Pura 80 Ultra arrives with a flashy design, top-tier ingress protection, fast charging, great speakers and innovative cameras that capture great photos and great nighttime video. It certainly has its merits; however, its high price tag puts it in direct competition with the best smartphones out there, while it's also disadvantaged in some significant ways, outside of Huawei's control. That's a very tough question. The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is no doubt a very powerful camera phone, but it lags behind in almost every other area. The chipset is built on an old node, the screen is not the brightest out there, and the software support is almost nonexistent. The price is also steep at around 1,200 euros (around $1,400 after direct conversion), and the lack of Google Mobile Services adds salt to the already open wound. For that amount of money most people will probably buy a Galaxy S25 Ultra and be done with it. Which is a shame, really, because the camera system inside the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is a true masterpiece, from the big 1-inch sensor under the main camera lens to the innovative dual-periscope telephoto camera. Let's just hope that the Pura 80 Ultra will raise the bar and push other manufacturers to up their camera game.
