Honor 600 Lite to naprawdę udany smartfon i godny reprezentant średniej półki. Dobrze leży w dłoni, ma rewelacyjny wyświetlacz, akumulator robi robotę, a system fotograficzny potrafi spełnić oczekiwania (o ile tylko nie są zbyt duże). Stanowi też spory krok naprzód względem poprzednika… Działa płynniej i dłużej niż Czterysetka, jest poręczniejszy i solidniejszy, a do tego ma głośniki stereo. Z drugiej strony – w zależności od rozmaitych zmiennych – robi równie dobre (i równie kiepskie) zdjęcia i nadal nie nagrywa wideo ani w 4K, ani w 60 klatkach na sekundę, jako że zachowuje ten sam zestaw aparatów. Równocześnie jest wyraźnie droższy – 600 złotych to nie jest różnica, którą można przemilczeć (szczególnie że stanowi blisko jedną trzecią ceny).

Jak wszystkie smartfony ze średniej półki cenowej, Honor 600 Lite nie jest telefonem bez wad. Z jednej strony otrzymujemy solidnie wykonane urządzenie, w obudowie z metalu i szkła, a do tego bardzo smukłe i z bardzo pojemnym akumulatorem oraz jasnym ekranem AMOLED. Takiego panelu nie powstydziłyby się modele za kilka tysięcy złotych więcej. Jednak Honor musiał gdzieś szukać oszczędności, a te bolą najbardziej w temacie multimediów. Aparat ultraszerokokątny jest bardzo kiepski, a ograniczenie nagrywania wideo do 1080p przy 30 FPS w 2026 roku nie przystoi. Na szczęście aparat główny robi całkiem ładne zdjęcia, przynajmniej za dnia. Wydajność może nie jest rekordowa, ale na co dzień telefon działa płynnie.

Honor 600 Pro to bardzo udany smartfon, pozbawiony większych, dyskwalifikujących wad. Ciekawie wygląda (pomińmy już to podobieństwo do sprzętu Apple), jest solidnie wykonany, ma ładny ekran, zapewnia wysoką wydajność, a bogaty system aparatów wraz z wieloma funkcjami, wspieranymi AI, daje duże pole do popisu. Funkcje AI znajdziemy też w innych zakamarkach systemu – nie wszyscy lubią, ale tu się mogą przydać, a w razie czego nie trzeba korzystać. Mniej podoba się zaśmiecenie systemu zbędnymi apkami, MagicOS 10 przy wielu swoich zaletach wydaje się też mocno przeładowany. Smartfon trochę się grzeje, ale nie do wartości krytycznych, choć lekkie poczucie dyskomfortu może się pojawić, przynajmniej latem. Jedyny znak zapytania to cena. Dysponując kwotą 4400 zł, można już zacząć rozglądać się wśród flagowców (np. OnePlus 15), tym bardziej, gdy się dołoży jeszcze 200-300 zł lub też weźmie pod uwagę modele starszej generacji. Gdy numerowa seria Honora kosztowała nieco ponad 3 tys. zł za model Pro, to była prawdziwa okazja. Z drugiej strony flagowe smartfony też drożeją, a za te około 4400 zł można najwyżej mieć modele z małymi ekranami 6,3 cala. Kto szuka czegoś większego, jak Honor 600 Pro, może już nie mieć wielkiego wyboru.

Czas na ostateczny werdykt i odpowiedź na pytanie, które postawiłem już w tytule tej recenzji: Honorze, po co ci te kompleksy? Bo zdejmując z tego smartfona całą tę dziwną, marketingową otoczkę i ewidentne naśladownictwo wizualne, zostajemy z naprawdę przemyślanym sprzętem. Wybitny wręcz czas pracy na baterii z szybkim ładowaniem, fenomenalny wyświetlacz z cieniutkimi ramkami i solidne główne aparaty – to pewne fundamenty, na których z powodzeniem można by zbudować własną, dumną tożsamość. Dokładnie tak, jak miało to miejsce w przypadku lubianych przez klientów poprzedników tego modelu.Tymczasem Honor sprawia wrażenie, jakby kompletnie nie wierzył we własne siły. Zamiast wyznaczać własne trendy, wolał ubrać 600 Pro w szaty iPhone’a, skopiować wygląd systemu operacyjnego i chwalić się absurdalnymi, laboratoryjnymi rekordami w postaci 8000 nitów. To wszystko sprawia, że obcując z tym telefonem, ciągle miałem z tyłu głowy pewien zgrzyt – trzymałem w końcu w ręku bardzo dobry sprzęt, który jednak za wszelką cenę próbuje udawać coś, czym po prostu nie jest.Trochę nie podoba mi się również cena tego urządzenia. Standardowa kwota 4399 złotych jest kompletnie przesadzona. I choć aktualnie promocyjna cena rzędu 3799 złotych wydaje się bardziej atrakcyjna, to nadal nie uważam jej za wybitnie konkurencyjną.Koniec końców Honor 600 Pro to obiektywnie dobry smartfon, który padł ofiarą braku pewności siebie własnych twórców.

Zachwyca też deklaracja aż 6-letniego wsparcia aktualizacjami. Oczywiście w Internecie nie brakuje osób, które bezmyślnie narzekają na cenę tego sprzętu. Jednak po bliższej analizie naprawdę trudno na nią narzekać. Jasne, możemy sięgnąć po pełnoprawnego flagowca, takiego jak OnePlus 15, Samsunga Galaxy S26+ czy iPhone’a 17 Pro, ale wtedy zapłacimy więcej. Osobiście uważam, że największym problemem tego telefonu nie jest jego cena, ale design zbyt mocno „inspirowany” Apple wraz z oprogramowaniem, które wymaga nieco dopracowania.

Zapisując się zaś do newslettera i kupując nowe smartfony w firmowym sklepie internetowym otrzymacie dodatkowo kupon na 200 złotych obowiązujący przy zakupie Honora 600 Pro lub na 100 złotych, jeśli wybierzecie podstawowy model Honor 600. Z tą wiedzą wróćmy do kwestii ceny. 4399 złotych sprawia, że smartfon jest obciążony bardzo dużym podatkiem od nowości. Na szczęście zapewne pojawią się oferty dla pierwszych kupujących, dzięki którym uda się ją skutecznie obniżyć. Niemniej gdyby Honor zdecydował się na utrzymanie ceny na startowym poziomie, nie byłbym w stanie wróżyć mu sukcesu. Co możemy obecnie kupić w tej cenie? iPhone 17 regularnie schodzi poniżej granicy 3999 złotych. W dniu przygotowywania niniejszego materiału da się go kupić nawet za 3799 złotych. Za 3999 złotych kupimy OnePlusa 15, a Motorola Signature to koszt 3999 złotych. Do tego Google Pixel 10 Pro, który startuje już od 3499 złotych. Jakby tego było mało, coraz więcej sklepów decyduje się na rezygnację z usług krajowego importera Samsunga i pozyskuje telefony zza granicy na własną rękę. Rezultat? Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra kosztuje już niecałe 4500 złotych, a to przecież pełnoprawny flagowiec. Krótko mówiąc: Honor 600 Pro jest OK, tylko co z tego, skoro w jego cenie bez trudu kupimy pełnoprawne flagowce? Niemniej przy srogiej przecenie zdecydowanie warto będzie wrócić do tematu.

It’s already close to flagship-level pricing, but you do get near-flagship-level performance with this phone. Whether it’s worth it or not, we leave that to you.

The Honor 400 Pro was a big fish in a relatively small pond, standing out among its mid-range peers with quality hardware and above-average software support. By kicking the price up so high, Honor has supplanted the 600 Pro into the ocean, where it doesn’t cast nearly as large a shadow. Performance remains solid, thanks to the upgrade to Snapdragon 8 Elite, battery life is fantastic, the display is bright and accurate, and those six years of software support are still highly valuable. A decidedly non-flagship camera suite and the bloated OS hurt the overall appeal, however, with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and OnePlus 15 offering superior photography. Moreover, the Galaxy has an extra year of software support, while the OnePlus has even better battery life and performance, both for less money than this. The Honor 600 Pro is competent enough, but it lacks that little extra something to make it stand out against such strong competition.

I’ve been very impressed with the Honor 600 Pro, and at the right price, this is an excellent choice for your next smartphone. However, the key factor is the right price tag, and while we don’t know what the UK or EU pricing is, the Malaysian pricing does give us some indication. The Honor 600 Pro starts at RM3,099 (approximately $785 or £580), with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 512GB version costs $50 more. However, it’s worth noting that the UK and EU pricing is likely to be much higher once import fees, taxes, and customs rates are taken into account. At the right price, this is an excellent purchase, and I’d also expect Honor to have many pre-order deals that either reduce the price or include free accessories.

Czas spędzony na testowaniu Honora 600 uświadomił mi, że to bardzo fajny smartfon i szczerze go polubiłem. Problem polega na tym, że nie kupiłbym go w premierowej cenie, nawet uwzględniając zniżkę na start. Gdybym miał już wydać ponadprzeciętnie dużo kasy na podobny telefon ze średniej półki, to wybrałbym OPPO Reno 15 Pro. Dlaczego? Bo ma 12 GB RAM, lepszy aparat dzięki teleobiektywowi i wyższej rozdzielczości obiektywu ultraszerokokątnego, a do tego jest jeszcze trochę mniejszy. Jego aktualna cena to 3099 złotych.Nie zapominajmy jednak o innych konkurentach. Choćby POCO F8 Pro, który wydajnościowo wciąga nosem zarówno OPPO, jak i Honora. Ba, dość zaskakująco nie odstaje od nich aparatem fotograficznym i do tego też jest wygodnym telefonem przez niewygórowane gabaryty. Co więcej, POCO jest dużo tańsze od tych dwóch konkurentów.Wychodzi więc na to, że Honor 600 dołącza do grona telefonów dobrych, ale zdecydowanie źle wycenionych. Ten model będzie miał dużo więcej sensu, gdy stanieje o kilkaset złotych. Jeśli chcesz kupić nowy smartfon tu i teraz, najlepiej marki Honor, to wybór Honora 400 Pro to najlepsza decyzja. Honor 600 dostanie więc ode mnie wysoką notę, bo to dobry telefon. Dobry to jednak za mało przy rynku wypełnionym po brzegi konkurentami, zwłaszcza że część z nich to ex-flagowce. Mało który średniak ma z nimi szansę w starciu 1 na 1.

But it’s not immune to some AI jankiness; the awesome AI-enhanced detail of its camera is somewhat undermined by weaker HDR, and its solid chipset produces a little more heat than I’d like. Nonetheless, it’s an accomplished handset in many ways and easily justifies its asking price.

One thing that I love (again) about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 2D face unlock, which I can only assume is a lower version of the 3D Face Recognition that's included in the Magic8 Pro. I found it to be just as responsive. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick. Time will tell if MagicOS 10 slows to a crawl. I think OS slowdowns affect all handsets; the more apps you install and have running in the background, the more it slows stuff down, but MagicOS 10 appears to have a (annoying warning when an application seems to be using a lot of battery (you can disable the global alerts). The tools are there to fix lag and slowdowns.

The Honor 600 is a pretty impressive phone. In some ways, it's squarely mid-range, like in its processing power and cameras. In other ways, it matches or beats flagship devices, such as in its screen brightness. There's really nothing that I dislike about the Honor 600, except for the lack of wireless charging, which plenty of users have yet to adopt anyway. This isn't a flagship killer in the literal sense — the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 won't run intensive games at high frame rates, and the digital zoom can't compete with a real periscope lens. But for the things most people care about, like getting decent photos and not having to worry about battery life, the Honor 600 has a lot going for it.

I have been happy enough with the Honor 600 as my everyday phone. It runs my apps, the battery lasts two days, the design is comfortable to hold, I’m not worried about durability, and the camera is acceptable.I should be saying, sure, it’s a good phone to buy. However, the Honor 600 has made life difficult for itself due to the various software gremlins I’ve already encountered (which makes me think more will arrive the longer I use it) and the irritating way it handles the not-always-on screen. It’s frustrating, as if the software were a little more polished, particularly around calls, and the always-on screen was actually always-on, there wouldn't be any major downsides here. Instead, you’ve got to be prepared for these things, and the chance of other bugs showing up, if you buy the Honor 600. If you’re fine with that, the Honor 600 is a solid mid-range Android phone that has taken one too many side glances at the Apple iPhone’s design.
