I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with HP’s Spectre x360 convertible. The laptop is scheduled to be returned any day now, and I know I’ll miss its OLED display, spacious keyboard deck, and responsive trackpad a lot. The same can be said for its performance and battery backup, which didn’t disappoint me in the slightest. Contrary to most system apps, HP’s myHP and HP Command Centre offer excellent features that will undoubtedly benefit the end user, too. I personally found the auto-locking mechanism quite helpful. Having the laptop lock itself when you step away from your desk and unlock it as you return simplifies the authentication process tenfold. The same goes for the trackpad’s brightness and volume control gestures, too. That said, while the laptop’s 360-degree design, albeit attractive and quite functional, will see little use given the Spectre’s overall heft.

The HP Spectre x360 16 (16-aa0000) is a multipurpose laptop with transforming capabilities. It looks stealthy, modern, and even distinctive thanks to the diagonal corners on the sides. The all-metal build feels premium to the touch and the rigidity is on point. The input devices are impressive, the backlit keyboard is comfortable for long hours of work and the enormous touchpad is smooth and accurate. No matter if you are going to use the notebook for gaming or maybe 3D rendering, you can expect snappy overall performance. That’s possible thanks to the competent cooling solution with two large fans and a pair of long heat pipes. That’s why the power is always there when you need it because of the high CPU frequencies even under prolonged periods is 100% processor loads. In this scenario, the two fans remain near-silent which amazes us.

The Spectre x360 16 puts me in a difficult position. On the one hand, it’s an excellent 360-degree convertible 2-in-1 with a solid build, beautiful OLED display, and superior keyboard and touchpad. Its performance is very good for all but demanding creators. Therein lies the rub. As a 16-inch laptop, the Spectre should appeal most to that very market — demanding creators — but it’s simply too slow.

The 2024 HP Spectre x360 16 is a powerful, premium 2-in-1 that earns its high price with stellar performance and a sleek chassis design. This is a do-it-all device that can go from productivity tasks to gaming with ease. The inclusion of an Nvidia RTX 4050 discrete GPU takes performance up a notch, which is great for gaming as well as content creation. Overall, the Spectre x360 16 thoroughly impressed me in my hands-on testing. The large OLED display renders everything in bright, colorful detail and the speakers are some of the best I’ve ever heard on a laptop. If you’re looking for a top-tier 2-in-1, this one deserves your attention.

Intel Arc 8-Core: Zintegrowana karta graficzna oparta na architekturze Xe LPG (podobnej do dedykowanych procesorów graficznych Arc, ale z naciskiem na wydajność). Zapewnia wszystkie 8 rdzeni Xe (128 silników wektorowych Xe) i 8 jednostek ray tracingu.

Powinny być w stanie zapewnić płynność we wszystkich najnowszych

grach. Tytuły o najwyższych wymaganiach sprzętowych będą jednak

chodzić na średnich ustawieniach grafiki. Starsze i mniej wymagające -
