Nothing Phone (3a) Pro ma swój niewątpliwy urok. W mojej ocenie wynika on po trosze z tego, że mając taki smartfon z pewnością wzbudzicie niemałe zainteresowanie pośród znajomych. Nietuzinkowy wygląd obudowy i interfejs Glyph z pewnością przykują niejedno spojrzenie. Również oprogramowanie Nothing OS 3.1 ze swoją domyślną szatą graficzną (w mojej ocenie niezbyt czytelną) to coś, co pozwala się wyróżnić. Smartfon Nothing Phone (3a) Pro jest wszechstronny. Ma wydajny i nienagrzewający się układ Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, zapewniający mu płynne działanie. Do tego dochodzi bardzo ładny ekran AMOLED 120 Hz, dobrze grające głośniki stereo, wsparcie dla 5G i eSIM, dostatek pamięci na dane i szybkie ładowanie 50 W.

Gdzieś tam wreszcie widać metamorfozy, tak jest w możliwościach fotograficznych. Główny 50-megapikselowy moduł fotograficzny Samsung ISOCELL GNJ i ten sam 50-megapikselowy teleobiektyw Sony LYT600 z trzykrotnym zoomem optycznym są wyposażone w hybrydową stabilizację i sprawdzają się znakomicie w dosłownie każdym scenariuszu fotografowania. Dynamiczne sceny przy słabym oświetleniu nie będą obfitować w szumy i rozmycia. Również ulepszony 50-megapikselowy aparat do selfie nie zawodzi. Dostępny jest dźwięk stereo.

Nothing Phone (3a) i Nothing Phone (3a) Pro spodobają się tym, którzy poszukują oryginalnie wyglądającego telefonu do codziennych zastosowań. Choć ich wzornictwo początkowo wymaga przyzwyczajenia, to z czasem coraz bardziej się podoba, na co dodatkowo wpływa solidne wykonanie i bardzo ładny ekran. Również interfejs systemu, a także dodatki Glyph są miłym urozmaiceniem Androida, choć nowa przestrzeń Essential Space wymaga jeszcze dopracowania. Wewnętrzna specyfikacja w teorii wygląda nieźle, choć producent zdecydował się na pewne kompromisy, jak pamięć w budżetowym standardzie UFS 2.2. Mimo wszystko nie jest źle, wydajność i kultura pracy są przyzwoite, na pochwałę zasługują też sprawne funkcje komunikacyjne i niezły zestaw kodeków Bluetooth.

Cena Nothing Phone 3a Pro to 2049 zł. Za wariant 3a zapłacimy 1569 zł (w wersji z 8 GB RAM i 128 GB pamięci wewnętrznej). Z zaskoczeniem muszę zauważyć, że to właśnie ten, teoretycznie słabszy model przypadł o wiele bardziej do gustu. Oczywiście, „zwykły” 3a nie ma eSIM, a także nie może się pochwalić tak okazałym aparatem z obiektywem peryskopowym jak model Pro. Tylko, czy naprawdę takiego potrzebujecie? Tańszy z Nothingów nie ma tak potwornie odstającej wyspy z aparatami, a pod względem ekranu, wydajności i baterii oferuje praktycznie to samo. Oczywiście za wariant 12/256 GB zapłacimy trochę więcej (1779 zł), co powoli skłania do myślenia typu „dołożę już te 300 zł i wezmę najlepszego”. Co w tym wypadku jest moim zdaniem absolutnie bezzasadne.

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro zyskał ochronę IP64, a więc nie trzeba się obawiać deszczu, a nawet przygodnych chlapnięć. To dobrze, ale daleko za konkurencją, która oferuje w tym segmencie pełne uszczelnienie. A jak już jesteśmy przy konkurencji, to trzeba wspomnieć o jeszcze jednej wielkiej zalecie Nothing: Phone (3a) i Phone (3a) Pro kosztują po kilkaset złotych mniej, niż oferujące mniej-więcej to samo telefony konkurentów. No i dostajesz unikalny charakter i niezwykłe funkcje gratis. A do tego… Nothing Phone (3a) jest sprzedawany w naprawdę dobrej cenie.

Za nami recenzja Nothing Phone (3a) i Phone (3a) Pro, a więc smartfonów, które pozwalają wyróżnić się z tłumu, a jednocześnie są bardzo dobrze dopracowane. Producent wyeliminował bolączki poprzedników (m.in. plastikowe plecki) i wprowadził istotne nowości (teleobiektyw/peryskop). To wszystko wciąż jest oferowane w rozsądnych cenach, która ostatecznie sprawia, że mamy wrażenie obcowania z droższymi urządzeniami. Wadą dla niektórych mogą okazać się powiększone wyspy z aparatami. Trzeba też pamiętać, że renomowana konkurencja (np. Samsung) oferuje już dłuższe wsparcie podstawowe, choć tu akurat Nothing nie ma się czego wstydzić. Można jedynie zastanowić się, czy warto dopłacać do wariantu Pro? Cena wyraźnie rośnie, a zyskujemy głównie lepszy teleobiektyw i aparat do selfie.

Czy Nothing Phone (3a) Pro to telefon wart uwagi? Moim zdaniem – jak najbardziej, choć nie dla każdego. Producent konsekwentnie buduje swoją markę wokół oryginalnego designu i podejścia do oprogramowania, co widać także w tym modelu. Przezroczysty tył z podświetleniem Glyph to element, który albo się pokocha, albo uzna za zbędny gadżet. Dla mnie to ciekawy akcent, który sprawia, że telefon się wyróżnia. Do tego dochodzi świetny ekran AMOLED 120 Hz i wydajność, która w codziennym użytkowaniu nie daje powodów do narzekań. Z drugiej strony, są rzeczy, które mnie rozczarowały. Brak ładowania bezprzewodowego to jedna z nich – w 2025 roku to już standard, nawet w smartfonach ze średniej półki.

Tak po prawdzie różnica między tymi urządzeniami wcale nie jest wielka - tańszy model nie wspiera standardu eSIM i ma de facto tylko ciut gorsze aparaty (zapewniam, że i tak nadal są one niezłe - niebawem postaram się przygotować dla Was specjalny materiał na ten temat). Warto też zauważyć, że urządzenie z dopiskiem Pro ma dosyć sporą konkurencję w tej półce.

As I said from the start, I really like both the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either one for its mix of battery life, flexible cameras, and near-stock Android skin. Nothing’s transparent design continues to win me over, too, even if there’s not much purpose behind the style. I’d even tell a prospective buyer to give either the Phone 3a or 3a Pro a try just for the convenience of the Essential Space — and I’d actually have to do so since the reliance on the hardware button means that the feature isn’t backwards compatible. My initial feeling about these handsets is that they could have just been one phone. There aren’t many significant differences between them and while I have high hopes for the (3a) Pro’s periscope telephoto camera, I don’t think it will be impressive enough to justify the extra £70 to £120 in price. That’s a question to be settled when I come to the full reviews, however. For now, it’s clear that the Phone (3a) series makes several exciting improvements to last year’s models. The displays are bigger and brighter, both models get a new telephoto camera and the simplified approach to AI looks genuinely useful. I’ll have a lot more to say on the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro in the coming weeks – including which of them I feel is most worth your time – but for now, I feel confident that Nothing has at least one more bargain mid-range phone on its hands.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will be available to purchase in the U.S. in only the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage configuration in the grey and black colorways. The phone will cost $459.

After the odd Nothing Phone 2a Plus release, Nothing is straight back to the top of its game with the Nothing Phone 3a Pro. I used it as my main smartphone the week leading up to MWC 2025, and also while I’ve been in Barcelona for the show, and it hasn’t put a foot wrong. It has been reliable to use and taken some great photos, but most of all it has been fun. The Phone 3a Pro is one of the few smartphones to put a smile on my face, whether it’s through the out-there design, the silly sound effects, the flash of the Glyph Lights, the pedometer widget, or the really cool black and white filter for the camera. Even the filter switcher in the camera app looks unique, and I adore Nothing’s attention to detail throughout the software and the phone’s design. It separates it from other phones at a similar price. The Nothing Phone 3a Pro is superb, and I wholeheartedly recommend you buy it.

The transparent rear panel and the large circular camera module surely attract attention, even though it makes it difficult to hold for a prolonged period. The new Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro don't stray too much from the established Nothing formula, yet they remain quite uniquely positioned on the market, even based on looks alone. Adding a third telephoto camera in this generation is a nice touch. The Pro is clearly the way to go if the telephoto is a big priority for you, but for many, the 2x on the vanilla will suffice just fine. As for the rest of the devices, there is pretty much perfect convergence. Both use the same display, which we found to be excellent in person, and both rely on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which, while not a flagship chip, has plenty of performance to throw around. Though far from industry-leading, the three-year software support promise is also decent enough.

After initial stages of testing, I'm generally impressed by the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. It's a savvily positioned product, when you consider it has a massive periscope zoom camera – yet costs less than Samsung's Galaxy A56, far less than Apple's iPhone 16e, and when Google inevitably announces a Pixel 9a I suspect that will cost more too. It's not all roses, though, as the processor and software does show some signs of weakness – in beta there's no Google Wallet payments; there's also some minor stutters when loading some apps – and the price jump from the base Phone (3a) to the Pro is significant.

It’s not the most powerful option around, but you might not care if you’d make the most of that 3x optical zoom telephoto lens. Nothing Phone’s unique features, such as the transparent design, Glyph interface, and Essential Space, come down to personal taste. It’s too early to really consider Essential Space all that essential or useful, but those rear Glyph notifications might really come in handy for some people.
