Mam wrażenie, że Motorola trochę przespała ten smartfon albo pokazała go za szybko. Przypomnę, że różnica między dwiema generacjami to około pół roku. Owszem, jest trochę zmian, jest lepsza i szybciej ładująca się bateria czy pewniejszy aparat z przodu, ale tych zmian jest stanowczo za mało i nie są one aż tak istotne, by bez mrugnięcia okiem wskazać i polecić motorolę edge 30 pro. Nawet w promocyjnej cenie, która często jest poniżej trzech tysięcy złotych, bo tej „premierowej” nawet nie biorę pod uwagę, bo jest zbyt wysoka. Największym nieporozumieniem dla mnie jest aparat, który jest ewidentnie gorszy i wykastrowany niż w poprzedniku. Czy kupić motorolę edge 30 pro? Nie. Lepszą decyzją będzie zakup motoroli edge 20 pro, którą często można znaleźć poniżej 2000 złotych. Widziałem ją nawet bliżej 1900 złotych w wersji 12/256 GB, a taka cena to sztos.

Po Edge 30 Pro nie spodziewałem się jakoś dużo. A finalnie dostałem genialnie działający smartfon. Producent idealnie połączył wysoką częstotliwość odświeżania obrazu z mocnym procesorem, co finalnie przekłada się niesamowite wrażenia z użytkowania. Do tego mamy dobrą baterię i czystego Androida 12. Na minus jednak wypadają aparaty, które nieco godzą w termin “flagowca”. No i ja jeszcze chciałbym zaznaczyć, że dziwi mnie brak czytnika linii papilarnych w ekranie.

Być może Motorola Edge 30 Pro miała być częścią metody prób i błędów. Wydaje mi się, że jednak w kilku aspektach jest gorsza od poprzedniczki, a jej cena wzrosła do poziomu, gdzie ludzie rozglądają się już za Samsungami czy iPhone'ami. W takiej sytuacji trudno obronić smartfon, który całościowo prezentuje się dość nierówno. Nie sądzę też, by Edge 30 Pro stanowił dobrą alternatywę dla Pixeli, więc jeśli możecie je zamówić za granicą - idźcie w tę stronę. Chyba, że marzycie o wielkim ekranie 144 Hz.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro to smartfon, który osobiście chętnie bym rozważał do zakupu, gdyby nie kilka rzeczy, które mnie przyciągnęły do flagowego Samsunga. Ale to temat na inną historię. Najnowszy flagowiec Motoroli bardzo dobrze wygląda, czemu nie przeszkadza nawet plastikowa ramka (zamiast aluminiowej, jak u konkurencji). Matowe wykończenie tylnego panelu również mnie przyciąga. Duże plusy należą się Motoroli za ładowanie indukcyjne (z ładowaniem zwrotnym) oraz lokalizację czytnika linii papilarnych w najlepszym, według mnie, miejscu do tego. A żeby tego wszystkiego było mało, Motorola Edge 30 Pro kosztuje 3799 zł. Patrząc na flagowce Samsunga, Xiaomi czy Oppo, można by napisać tylko 3799 zł. Cena ta z czasem powinna spaść, stając się jeszcze bardziej atrakcyjną.

Nowym modelem Edge 30 Pro Motorola jeszcze raz mnie zaskoczyła. Wygląda bowiem na to, że marka wybiera dość pokrętne drogi w swoim dążeniu do powrotu na flagową, smartfonową półkę i... widać to doskonale na przykładzie testowanego smartfonu. Z kolei starsza Motorola Edge 20 Pro (Snapdragon 870, aluminiowa rama, aparat z modułem tele 5x, tej samej jakości ekran, choć z nowszym szkłem Gorilla Glass 5), oczywiście także bez ładowania bezprzewodowego i z wolniejszym ładowaniem przewodowym kosztuje obecnie 2900 złotych. Różnica cenowa jest zatem spora, a funkcjonalnie taki wybór ma zarówno swoje plusy, jak i minusy, czyli wcale nie jest pozbawiony sensu. Generalnie, wielkimi rynkowymi wrogami nowej Motoroli są także wszystkie flagowe urządzenia z zeszłorocznym Snapdragonem 888. Bo przecież Realme GT (link do testu) kosztuje dziś nawet poniżej 2000 złotych, za Xiaomi 11T Pro ze 120-watowym ładowaniem zapłacimy 2900 złotych (link do naszej recenzji), a świeżutki Realme GT2 (niedługo opublikujemy jego test) to wydatek 2500 złotych.

Patrząc na specyfikację Motoroli edge 30 pro mogłoby się zdawać, że jest to idealny flagowiec w nieco mniej flagowej cenie niż konkurencja. Na przestrzeni kilkunastodniowych testów natknąłem się jednak na kilka irytujących problemów, przez które nie mogę polecić tego smartfona każdemu. Topowa specyfikacja, składająca się ze Snapdragona 8 Gen 1 i 12 GB RAM, w połączeniu z dużym wyświetlaczem OLED sprawia, że jest to smartfon idealny do gier, a dzięki szybkiemu ładowaniu nie trzeba przejmować się ładowaniem smartfona przez noc – wystarczy podłączyć go z rana podczas przygotowywania się do wyjścia z domu. Poprawiono również sporo bolączek poprzednika, takich jak brak głośników stereo czy też brak ładowania bezprzewodowego. Mimo to, niestabilność sieci 5G oraz niespodziewane restarty to dość poważne wady tego urządzenia. Motorola być może upora się z tymi problemami wydając stosowną aktualizację oprogramowania, ale czy i kiedy stosowna łatka zostanie wydana – trudno stwierdzić.

Motorola coraz śmielej poczyna na rynku coraz to mocniejszych smartfonów. Tytułowy model na pewno pokazał, że nie są to bezsensowne próby. W końcu Edge 30 Pro oferuje nie tylko mocne podzespoły, ale także wyjątkowe oprogramowanie, które możemy obsługiwać na niezłym wyświetlaczu. Konstrukcja także jest wyjątkowa na tyle, jak dalece dzisiejsze smartfony mogą się wyróżniać. Firma na pewno musi poprawić jeszcze aparaty, ale pamiętajmy, że cena jest na swój sposób kompromisowa.

Jak więc oceniam motorolę edge 30 Pro. Z jednej strony – znakomicie. Bo chyba nie miałem jeszcze do czynienia z urządzeniem tak wydajnym, szybkim, płynnym i bezproblemowym. Dokładając bardzo dobry wyświetlacz oraz multimedia wychodzi nam z tego świetny „zabijacz czasu” z którym możemy spędzić długie godziny. Granie, oglądania filmów, słuchanie muzyki – wszystko tu jest na najwyższym poziomie. Z drugiej – problem zaczyna się robić, gdy przyjdzie nam do głowy zrobić parę zdjęć, nie daj Bóg w gorszych warunkach oświetleniowych. Wtedy pierwsze co przyjdzie nam do głowy to pytanie, za co zapłaciłem te trzy tysiące osiemset bez złotówki? Wydając mniej jesteśmy w stanie kupić urządzenia bardziej kompletne. Może nie będą działać tak „super” szybko, ale też będą szybkie. Za to zdjęcia zrobią nam dużo lepsze. To chociażby Samsung S21 FE 5G, Samsung Galaxy S21 czy OnePlus 9. Taniej dostaniemy też model 9 Pro albo fotograficzną bestię, VIVO X60 Pro. Mimo wszystko uważam edge 30 Pro za smartfon udany. To mocne wejście motoroli w klasę premium i mam nadzieję, że kolejne urządzenia będą jeszcze lepsze.

Competing in the Premium price segment, the Edge 30 Pro is Motorola’s latest flagship phone. It is powered by Qualcomm’s fastest chipset — the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 — and comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display that supports a 144 Hz refresh rate. A stylish camera bump with a rounded finish on the back of the device houses three lenses. A 50MP primary camera with f/1.8-aperture lens is assisted by a 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. The ultrawide also doubles as a macro lens. As a consequence, the Edge 30 Pro’s macro capabilities should be a step up from the 2MP macro lenses that are common on current budget and mid-range phones, including many of Motorola’s own G series phones. In our DXOMARK Camera ranking, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro does not make it among the top devices, but in the right light conditions, it captures photos and videos with good exposure and pleasant white balance. A wide depth of field makes sure that all subjects in group shots are rendered acceptably sharp.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro struggled during all our autonomy tests. Despite its large 4800 mAh battery, the device showed low autonomy across all the use cases, whether in calibrated or default mode. The idle management was poor, losing on average 4% every night. During our on-the-go tests, the GPS navigation overconsumed as well. However, the charging experience was decent. The 68W charger charged the battery faster than the average, offering about 5h45 of autonomy after a 5-minute charge. Because we were unable to buy a 15W wireless charging pad directly from Motorola, we bought an equivalent Anker 15W wireless stand to try this feature. On average, the power from the outlet did not exceed 10W throughout the charging, taking about 4 hours and 13 minutes to fill up the battery. It is the longest wireless charging that we’ve tested so far. In addition to a slow wireless charge, the charge efficiency was low, especially wirelessly, and the residual consumption was high when the device was plugged in and fully charged.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro’s display turned out to be great when playing video games because of its smooth touch rendering and its fast touch-to-response time. That touch smoothness was evident when browsing the web and using the photo applications. The brightness on the display adapted discreetly when the lighting environment changed. However, one of the display’s drawbacks included a screen that was blindingly too-bright at night, making readability very uncomfortable. Watching HDR10 videos also showed contrast levels that were incorrect.

The Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro almost has all the qualities we’ve been looking for in a flagship smartphone: a beautiful and premium design, a sharp and vibrant screen with a high refresh rate, powerful hardware, complete connectivity, a big battery, and nifty software features. The cameras are good but not as great as we expected. Then lastly, the price, at PHP 34,995, it’s a very attractive offering considering Snapdragon 8 Gen1-powered devices that launched earlier costs 40K and above. However, this kind of advantage is no longer unique to the Moto Edge 30 Pro as other manufacturers are already releasing similarly powerful smartphones at the same price range. Some are even priced lower. Still, the Moto Edge 30 Pro is a welcome option and even has some features that its competitors do not have. So, if you do end up getting this device, we can say that you won’t regret it.

Motorola’s latest version of its flagship Edge line, the 30 Pro, boasts what in 2022 constitute the standard specs for top-of-the-line smartphones. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 6.7″ HDR10+ display, and a 4800mAh fast-charging battery. This Motorola device even comes with a display that has a beyond-standard refresh rate: 144Hz. In terms of audio, its two speakers have Dolby Atmos tuning and Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound. It earned a global score of 66 in our audio testing, which aligns it with the score of the Motorola Edge+, the brand’s 2020 flagship. That puts it in average- to below-average territory for premium smartphones in our database. The 30 Pro’s score would have been better if it had not been dragged down by its poor performance as a recording device. Its noise-reduction is not well-engineered and the tonal balance of its recordings is generally off kilter. As a playback device, it faired much better, especially when listening to content at soft or nominal volumes. Let’s take a closer listen.

You expect outstanding cameras from an expensive smartphone, but in this regard, Motorola has taken the path of simplification - there is no telephoto lens, video recording capabilities are limited. The battery is not very powerful, there is no protection against immersion in water, the frame of the case is plastic. There are many competitors, but still, Edge 30 Pro is worth considering.

You shouldn’t go specifically for the Motorola Edge 30 Pro if you’re looking for the best mobile camera on the market, but less will probably do for most people. The screen is good enough, but nothing to brag about, so it’s the raw performance and durability in the form of a big battery and support for fast charging that should be the tongue on the scales if you’re going to consider a purchase of the Edge Pro 30. The extremely attractive price is a good argument in itself, and the fact is that you certainly get a lot for your money with the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. But it might be worth waiting a few weeks, because as mentioned, both OnePlus and Xiaomi are coming out with their top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 models, and once those phones make their way to stores, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro might lose out at the finish line after all. At the time of writing, however, there is every reason to give the mobile our Special Recommendation.

The Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro 5G is an excellent successor to the Edge 20 Pro and brings Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at the best price on the market. With a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, this phone runs smoothly and quickly. Motorola has set the price of its smartphone lower than the prices of other smartphones with the same processor. This phone has a great display, a solid camera system, and a good battery life. However, the clean Android interface that Motorola phones offer is what I appreciate the most about them, and this is something we saw on this one as well. Overall, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is an excellent all-rounder of a smartphone. The fact that there isn’t a telephoto camera makes me a little disappointed. Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro 5G is easily the best affordable flagship you can buy right now if you have Rs 50,000 to spend on a phone. If gaming is your focus, then you can also take a look at the Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro 5G (review).

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is somewhat of an odd proposition - a flagship that isn't quite, with unique selling points but also some notable shortcomings. On the first list is the 144Hz display - we can appreciate the smoothness, but can't quite see it as a substantial advantage over the 120Hz of the competition. With all that said, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro isn't a bad package. On the contrary, it's a balanced offering that's simply hard to straight up recommend at list price against the available rivals. That balance can easily shift in its direction though if you stumble upon a discount down the line, or you find yourself liking some particular aspects of it that others can't match. Don't rush to the store for one, but don't cross it off your list, is what we're saying.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes with a 4800mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging support. While the fast-charging tech is a blessing for people who are always in a hurry, the phone does heat up a bit when it is plugged into the charger. The battery does not last more than 13-14 hours a day and that, too, if you are running the phone's screen at a lower refresh rate of 60Hz. The phone also heats up a bit when you play heavy games on it. However, these are minor niggles and all phones have.

Motorola has been too conservative with the design too, considering what Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and iQOO are doing with their phones. Hence, if cameras are your priority at this price range, the cheaper Oppo Reno 7 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro could be good options for you.

The highlight of the Edge 30 Pro has to be the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC which is currently the best you can get in an Android smartphone. Camera performance was good, except in low-light conditions where it could do with a few tweaks. Motorola has managed to undercut a lot of the competition by pricing this smartphone at Rs. 49,999, which makes it quite tempting. However, the Edge 30 Pro isn't entirely perfect. While it is powerful, it heats up easily under load. Casual usage was trouble-free, but playing demanding 3D games did cause the phone to get warm. If you are okay with this trade-off, you should be happy with the Edge 30 Pro, but if you want to play a lot of games on your smartphone, the Asus ROG Phone 5s might just be a better fit at the same price.

Dlaczego mniej niż 160 gramów nie jest standardem w smartfonach z wyświetlaczem do 6,5 cala?! Wracając do tytułu recenzji – Motorola poczyniła kilka kroków w kierunku wzorowego telefonu – moto edge 30 to naprawdę udany flagowiec wyceniony na nieco powyżej 2000 złotych. Wielka zatem szkoda, że smartfon Motoroli w czasie testu okazał się nie do końca programowo dopracowany (problemy z odświeżaniem obrazu przy manualnej jasności, brak obsługi modułu szerokokątnego aparatu w trybie nocnym, bardzo przeciętnie pracująca sekcja wideo, tymczasowo pomijam kwestię zielonego rastra na zdjęciach, traktując go na razie jako wadę egzemplarza) i oferuje tak niewiele plusów w porównaniu do starszego Edge 20. Nie wspominając, że stracił moduł tele w aparacie. Marząc natomiast konkretnie o Motoroli Edge 30 musimy... cierpliwie poczekać: na promocję, obniżki ceny przychodzące z czasem lub na dobrą ofertę, którą otrzymamy podczas zawierania umowy abonamentowej.

Częstotliwość odświeżania obrazu wynosi tu nawet 144 Hz, czego u konkurencji nie ma. Korzystając z tego musimy się jednak liczyć ze zwiększeniem zużycia energii. Całkiem nieźle grają głośniki stereo smartfonu, ale należy unikać bardzo wysokich tonów przy maksymalnej głośności. A skoro już o tej ostatniej mowa, to głośniki testowanego smartfonu są naprawdę głośne. Motorola Edge 30 oferuje także wysoką wydajność oraz zapewnia płynne działanie funkcjonalnego interfejsu systemowego (prawie czysty Android 12) oraz zainstalowanych aplikacji i gier. Throttlingu tu nie uświadczyłem, ale skutkuje to osiąganiem przez obudowę bardzo wysokiej temperatury podczas dużego obciążenia podzespołów. Motorola Edge 30 w konfiguracji 8/128 GB weszła na polski rynek z ceną 2199 zł. Nie jest to kwota wygórowana, szczególnie jeśli ktoś szuka dobrze wyposażonego smartfonu, który ma jednocześnie smukłą i lekką konstrukcję.

Instead of butting heads with the Google Pixel 6a, Nothing Phone 1 and OnePlus Nord 2, it now has a bit more breathing room. For anyone with a firm £300 budget, there’s lots to like. It has a stellar screen for the price, ample performance and a wonderfully slim build (even if it is entirely made from plastic). The main and ultrawide cameras can snap a good photo too – if not quite on the level as some of the rivals it was originally pitched against. Battery life is also merely OK, with the firm’s own Moto G82 having it beaten by a fair margin. If prices return to the original £380 RRP, we’d suggest heading elsewhere – unless having the skinniest smartphone possible is a big deal to you. While the discount remains in place, though, it’s absolutely worth a look.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is another alternative to the Motorola Edge 30. It is a bit cheaper, offers similar performance, but has worse cameras and display. So again, it’s a no-no. And what about Motorola’s own Edge 30 Pro? What’s so Pro about it compared to the Edge 30? Well, I’ve been asking myself this question ever since I got the non-Pro model. The Edge 30 Pro offers better performance but is almost twice the price of the Edge 30. Its camera performance is very similar, both haptics and audio output are also close, and the screen, except for the fact that it is bigger and has an LTPO panel, doesn’t bring that much more to the table. If you’re into games, the Edge 30 Pro is the way to go. For anyone else, I believe you are better off not spending all that money and getting a phone that is both cheaper and prettier, and the Edge 30 is exactly that.

wymagające gry chodzą tylko na minimalnych ustawieniach, w wyniku

czego często mocno cierpi jakość grafiki. Układy z tej klasy powinny

zainteresować osoby rzadko grające w gry.

Qualcomm Adreno 730: Układ graficzny dla smartfonów i tabletów, który jest zintegrowany w Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm twierdzi, że jest on o 30% szybszy niż Adreno 660 w SoC Snapdragon 888. Dla Android powinna to być jedna z najszybszych kart graficznych pod koniec 2021 roku.

Niektóre mniej wymagające nowsze gry mogą działać dobrze na niskich

ustawieniach. Karty te są oczywiście odpowiednie do aplikacji

biurowych i odtwarzania filmów.
