EN→PLThe Acer Swift X 14 has a powerful Nvidia RTX 40-series GPU and a beastly CPU — and it only starts at $1,299. That is truly a great deal! Overall, the Acer Swift X 14 has a darling OLED display that is a visual treat. Plus, for photo and video editors who need a machine that can handle their workloads, the Swift X 14 has plenty of graphics and processing oomph (though you can hear them working with the fan noise kicking in). Plus, there's a microSD card for creators and a fingerprint reader for security-minded users. On top of that, you can squeeze out more than 8 hours from the Acer Swift X 14, which isn't half bad for a laptop with discrete graphics. Everything else, including the webcam, audio, and keyboard are yawn-worthy, but they're not terrible either. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the Swift X 14 to users who want a Windows PC who can handle their creative tasks during the day — and facilitate gaming at night.

But the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 spoils Acer’s party, as it manages to deliver even better performance at a lower MSRP of $1,599.99. To be fair, the G14 we tested had only 16GB of RAM, but that’s the sole significant disadvantage against the Swift X 14.

EN→PLThe Swift X 14 isn’t the best-looking 14-inch laptop. In fact, it’s sort of clunky and not entirely modern. But that’s OK, because it’s a really fast laptop with a spectacular OLED display. It’s one of the more portable laptops for doing real creative work. The fact that it’s also more reasonably priced than some alternatives is what makes it a very attractive laptop. Yes, you can buy less expensive 14-inch laptops, but you won’t get this kind of performance. That makes the Swift X 14 an easy laptop to recommend.

Acer's stodgy keyboard design could be better, and the drab looks of the system could be spruced up by more than just the gorgeous OLED display. But if you're after a robust yet portable machine offering clear value, the Swift X 14 checks the right boxes. Given the small changes between configurations, it's safe to say the lower-end variants should be competitive, as well.

With an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and Nvidia RTX 4070 there wasn’t much I could throw at the Swift X 14 that it couldn’t handle. Between its fast general performance, smooth editing and gaming performance, satisfying keyboard, and decent battery life, the Swift X 14 is nearly perfect as a content-creation platform. It’s got HDMI and USB-C ports that allow you to connect extra monitors if you need additional editing space, a solid TPM security system, and a serviceable webcam. The Swift X 14’s display is its only weak point.

EN→PLUnfortunately, it's always the case that you can't please everyone all of the time. In spreading yourself too thin, sometimes you miss the mark in the places that count. So while the Acer Swift X 14 does a lot to impress, it's a let down in some key areas. It looks good, is very portable, has a nice screen and keyboard, and has a bit of power to boot. In a vacuum, it's a perfectly competent machine. But for the price, there's options which are more portable, more premium, more powerful, and which represent better value for money, especially for those with more complex computing needs.
