The Razer Blade 14 (2025) is almost a slam dunk of a gaming laptop. It delivers nearly everything you could want from a sleek and portable gaming machine. It's small and light, it has an amazing screen, its keyboard and trackpad are fantastic, and its gaming performance is solid. Credit is due to the wonders of DLSS upscaling and frame generation that come with the RTX 5000 series GPUs available in this laptop, too. While both technologies have their limitations, they really excel when used in a machine like this, where you have a high pixel density screen and enough raw performance that just a little helping hand is needed from upscaling and frame gen to get you playable frame rates at the screen's native resolution, all with minimal impact on image quality.However, the big downside of this laptop is its battery life.

The Razer Blade 14 is a familiar design, but one that packs in an impressive amount of power per cubic centimetre. It has the power of a real gaming PC, but the portability and dimensions to work well as a luxury ultraportable. Razer even beats plenty of such laptops in the quality and feel of its touchpad and keyboard too. The Razer Blade 14 can’t compete with that class on battery life, heat or noise, so it’s important not to come expecting the best of all worlds with this laptop.

What I really like about the Blade 14 is that it’s a laptop that plays to its strengths. Razer didn’t make this to be the most powerful almost-ultraportable gaming laptop, nor does it need to be. Don’t get me wrong, the Blade 14 is still pretty powerful for its size. But what it offers is a balance that I find few other brands get right: enough performance to comfortably handle today’s games at 1080p and even 1440p, a very good no-compromise OLED display, and a chassis that actually feels portable in the hands. But as impressed as I am with the Blade 14, it isn’t perfect. I found the keyboard to be shallow, the aluminium chassis is as smudge-prone as ever, and the laptop’s fans can get pretty loud when under load. However, these are trade-offs that I feel are easy to live by too. And if you are in the hunt for an ultraportable-size gaming laptop that can do a bit of everything without fuss, the Blade 14 is pretty easy to recommend.

The high price and shallow keyboard hold it back slightly, but this is the most refined 14-inch gaming laptop I’ve tested.

It’s slick, mobile, long-lasting, and powerful enough for a range of modern gaming scenarios. Of course, the cost will be too steep for value shoppers, and big spenders can get much more power for the price in a 16-inch laptop. It all depends on whether or not travel-friendliness is your top priority. If 14 inches sounds ideal, the Blade 14 is a fantastic choice, earning our Editors’ Choice at this size.

Razer has made one of the best 14-inch gaming laptops this year, though you have to pay for the privilege of owning one. Still, despite the price and comparisons to some of the best gaming laptops, the sleek design and great OLED display make the Razer worth considering. And it's not just the specs that Razer got correct here. The redesigned cooling system makes it a cooler laptop than its predecessors. The RGB keyboard is fun, and I can't deny that the Blade 14 just looks good. If you want a gaming laptop with comparable performance, the Legion Go 7i Pro and HP Omen Max 16 are great options, as well as the aforementioned Asus G14.

Gaming laptops continue to have severe battery life issues. Even if you eschew any more hardcore programs and only use this laptop to browse the web, you’ll never achieve anything close to a full-day of battery life. The Blade 14 (2025) doesn’t break that trend, but it does better than most. In practice, the laptop can maintain itself on the default balanced power settings off-plug for a little more than four hours. After that, the it was begging for a charger. That number was consistent over weeks using the new Blade 14. The laptop would much rather you work with a plug nearby. With the 200W power brick connected to the its proprietary charging port, I could go from near 20% to almost full in under 40 minutes. I prefer to travel light, in which case I sometimes left the charger at work just so I didn’t have to carry it around with me.

The Razer Blade 14 aims to deliver on multiple fronts. While it's not perfect and may force you to carry the charger with you if you plan to game on the go, the overall experience is so good that it makes its premium price and handful of trade-offs feel worth it. Your final decision between the ROG Zephyrus G14 and the Blade 14 will likely come down to pricing. Razer's laptops are never affordable, and the ROG Zephyrus G14 really highlights the difference. Considering you can buy the ROG Zephyrus G14 with a more powerful Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU and RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU for less than a Blade 14 with an RTX 5070 (non-Ti), you'll have to decide if the Blade 14's strengths are really worth the extra money. Yes, Razer's hardware continues to represent the pinnacle of premium gaming laptop design, but ASUS has made great progress in recent years. The 2025 Zephyrus G14 might not be quite as impressive from an aesthetic standpoint, but it beats the Blade 14 where it matters most: performance and pricing. The Razer Blade 14 is an excellent gaming laptop in a small package. If you want premium build quality, great gaming performance, and a beautiful display in a compact 14-inch laptop package, it’s a great option. Yes, it’s expensive at $2,699. That’s the big downside — although it was on sale for $2,299 on Razer’s online store while I was finishing this review. Compared to high-end Razer Blade 16 variants that pair top-end GPUs with thin designs for a high price, this combination of power, portability, and price makes a lot more sense. It’s an excellent machine, but there are tradeoffs: You can get more gaming performance for less money in other, larger gaming laptops. You can get other 14-inch gaming laptops, too — but they won’t feel all this premium or have fans this quiet.

While the Razer Blade 14 looks a lot like an ultraportable, glancing at the price tag will quickly remind you that this is a premium gaming laptop. The model I was provided with retails for $2,299.99. To be fair, you can opt for the 5060 model to shave $300 off the cost, or save another $300 by reducing the included RAM to 16 GB. Alternately, the deep-pocketed can upgrade to 64 GB of RAM for an extra $300, or double the storage to 2 TB for an additional $300. That's not cheap, but it is reasonable for what the Blade 14 offers. Consider that you get an OLED display, a powerful discrete GPU, and competitive helpings of RAM (32 GB) and storage (a 1 TB SSD) in this mid-tier configuration, and a $2,300 MSRP is exactly what I'd expect to spend. When you throw in the svelte design and remarkably efficient cooling, the Blade 14 actually starts to look like a bargain.

Razer laptops have never been known to be affordable, and the Blade 14 is no exception. This is a costly machine, and a lot of that is tied up in the intricate way Razer constructs it. The redesigned Razer Blade 14 (2025) is easily my favorite Razer laptop so far, though, and proves to me why the smallest in the lineup is also the best-selling. This is an excellent gaming companion with enough power for all the latest and greatest games, but a design thin and light enough to carry around with you everywhere. It's also more capable of surviving a full day of work than most gaming laptops, making it a potent option for those who want a premium device for work, play, creativity, and — increasingly important — artificial intelligence. The Blade 14 is still overkill for a lot of people, though, and those only planning to casually game or occasionally use those beefy NVIDIA graphics may be better off with one of the shockingly capable Intel or AMD ultrabooks from companies like Lenovo or HP.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop: Nadchodząca karta graficzna z rodziny Blackwell dla laptopów, którą Team Green najprawdopodobniej zaprezentuje na targach CES 2025. Biorąc pod uwagę, że laptop 4070 ma 4608 zunifikowanych shaderów (rdzeni CUDA), 5070 najprawdopodobniej będzie miał znacznie ponad 5000 shaderów.

Karty graficzne najwyższej klasy, które są na tyle wydajne, by

najnowsze gry o dużych wymaganiach sprzętowych chodziły na

wyposażonych w nie laptopach płynnie na wysokich ustawieniach grafiki

(wysoka rozdzielczość, wysoki poziom odwzorowania szczegółów). Ze

względu na wysoki pobór mocy są stosowane w dużych notebookach.

Ryzen AI 9 365: Stosunkowo wydajny procesor z rodziny Strix Point, który zadebiutował w czerwcu 2024 roku. APU z serii Ryzen AI 9 wyposażono w 10 rdzeni CPU, kartę graficzną 12 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 880M oraz silnik neuronowy 50 TOPS XDNA 2. Nadal nie ma tu obsługi PCIe 5, a 6 rdzeni CPU jest wolniejszych niż pozostałe 4.
