Jeśli choć trochę interesujecie się motoryzacją, na pewno kojarzycie określenie "sleeper". Dotyczy ono bardzo niepozornego pojazdu o zaskakująco dobrych osiągach, właściwie na miarę sportowych aut. Podobnego określenia chyba jeszcze nie mamy w smartfonowym światku, ale gdyby powstało, idealnie pasowałoby ono do OnePlusa Nord CE5. To urządzenie nie budzi właściwie żadnych emocji aż do momentu, w którym rozpoczyna się wykonywać na nim pierwsze zadania. Aż dziw bierze, że w tak niepozornej plastikowej obudowie ulokowano mocnego Dimensity 8350-Apex, RAM LPDDR5X oraz pamięci UFS 3.1. Takie kombo sprawia, że z nowego Norda można korzystać prawie jak z flagowca. To jednak nie koniec zalet. The phone does well in other departments too, generally delivering a smooth performance, handling gaming well, and comes with good main and selfie cameras. But good performer though it is, the Nord CE5 has a lot of competition to deal with. Interestingly, one of its biggest challenges comes from one of its co-founder’s new brands – the Nothing Phone (3a) comes with a very distinct design, clean interface and better camera set up and stereo speakers, although it has a much smaller battery and no charger.

With that being said, few handsets perform as impressively across the board as the OnePlus Nord CE 5. Performance is excellent, battery life is outstanding, the display gets brilliantly bright and nails colour accuracy, software support is above average and the main camera is very competent. The cheap design and lack of an IP rating or Gorilla Glass let it down a bit but even still, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is a fantastic all-rounder available for a very tempting price.
