Z jednej strony jest bardzo bogaty w funkcje, animacje i dodatki AI, z drugiej - momentami sprawia wrażenie przeładowanego. Nie jest to minimalistyczny klimat Pixela czy Nothing Phone'a. Infinix chce dać użytkownikowi wszystkiego dużo: funkcji, opcji, skrótów i efektów wizualnych. Jednym się to spodoba, inni będą potrzebowali kilku dni, żeby się odnaleźć. Na tle konkurencji pokroju Samsung Galaxy A56 5G czy Nothing Phone (3a), Note Edge wyróżnia się przede wszystkim formą i ergonomią. Nie jest najbardziej wydajny ani najbardziej fotograficzny, ale bardzo umiejętnie tworzy wrażenie telefonu "premium dla normalnych ludzi". I właśnie dlatego ma w sobie coś wyjątkowo sympatycznego. Bo Infinix Note Edge nie próbuje być zabójcą flagowców. To raczej smartfon dla kogoś, kto chce dużego, nowoczesnego i bardzo wygodnego telefonu bez wydawania fortuny. I trzeba przyznać, że w swojej roli sprawdza się zaskakująco dobrze.

Jest to telefon dla osób, które cenią sobie elegancję, nie chcą martwić się o ładowarkę przez ponad dzień i lubią technologiczne gadżety w postaci portu podczerwieni, eSIM, przesyłania plików na iPhone’y czy konfigurowalnego przycisku z boku obudowy. Jeśli jednak Twoim głównym priorytetem są mobilne gry wymagające najwyższej wydajności, nocna fotografia z wykorzystaniem zoomu lub zależy Ci na w pełni zautomatyzowanym asystencie głosowym mówiącym do Ciebie po polsku, być może warto spojrzeć na inne modele. Po kilku dniach z tym telefonem mam wrażenie, że Infinix NOTE Edge jest urządzeniem, które próbuje znaleźć własną drogę w bardzo zatłoczonym segmencie średniej półki. Producent postawił na mieszankę rozsądnych podzespołów, kilku ciekawych dodatków i charakterystycznego designu. W cenie około 1400 zł dostajemy telefon, który ma wyraźną osobowość, a to w tej klasie wcale nie jest takie oczywiste.W codziennym użytkowaniu telefon sprawdza się dobrze. System działa płynnie, choć momentami da się odczuć ograniczenia pamięci i zdarzają się drobne przycięcia przy przełączaniu aplikacji. Pozytywnie zaskoczył mnie natomiast aparat. Tylny sensor potrafi zrobić naprawdę przyzwoite zdjęcia w ciągu dnia i radzi sobie całkiem dobrze także wieczorem. Jeszcze większą niespodzianką jest aparat do selfie, który daje sporo detali i naturalne kolory.

Nie stara się być „wszystkim dla każdego” i zadowolić każdego potencjalnego nabywcę. Producent koncentruje się na dostarczeniu ergonomicznego, dopracowanego narzędzia dla osób, które cenią estetykę i wytrzymałość. Jeśli jednak na pierwszym miejscu stawiacie fotografię mobilną i wieloletnie wsparcie, bardziej opłacalne mogą być telefony konkurencji. Dla użytkownika, dla którego priorytetem jest ekran, baterię, łączność i design, Note Edge może być atrakcyjnym wyborem. Poczekajcie jednak, aż cena spadnie do bardziej racjonalnego poziomu. 1399 złotych to zdecydowanie za dużo.

Chociaż Nothing udowodnił, że da się wyposażyć smartfon za tysiaka w teleobiektyw (patrzę na ciebie, CMF Phone 2 Pro), jego brak jest dla mnie całkowicie akceptowalny w Infinixie Note Edge. Brak modułu ultraszerokokątnego jest jednak dla mnie nieporozumieniem w smartfonie kosztującym 1400 złotych. Właściwie mógłbym nawet i na to przymknąć oko, gdyby główny sensor reprezentował klasę petarda. Ale nie reprezentuje – jest w porządku i nic ponadto. Do tego dochodzi pamięć UFS 2.2 (nie rozumiem powodu, bo MediaTek Dimensity 7100 obsługuje UFS 3.1) i konstrukcja cechująca się wodoszczelnością w klasie jedynie IP65. Są to oszczędności, które mocno podważają dla mnie opłacalność zakupu tego modelu. Trudno mi też pominąć kwestię spadków wydajności, szczególnie w aplikacji Aparat.A szkoda – bo Infinix Note Edge jest jednym z najładniejszych i najprzyjemniejszych w dotyku smartfonów, jakie miałem okazję testować w ostatnim czasie.

Note Edge może się podobać – nieźle wygląda, jest solidnie wykonany, bardzo dobre wrażenie robi ekran. Po włączeniu pożywne wrażenie utrzymuje się – smartfon ma bogaty system pełen przydanych funkcji z dodatkami AI, zapewnia świetne możliwości telekomunikacyjne (w tym eSIM i 5G), nieźle brzmi na nim muzyka (chociaż niekoniecznie na głośnikach, mimo współpracy z JBL). Akumulator 6150 mAh zapewnia przyzwoity czas pracy. Dopiero z czasem odkrywa się pewne ograniczenia – smartfon niekiedy przycina, a układ Dimensity 7100 niestety okazał się niezbyt udaną jednostką. Chociaż jest nowy, to został wykonany w starszej litografii 6 nm, co rzutuje nie tylko na wydajność systemu, ale i czas pracy czy możliwości aparatu. Skromna sekcja foto, choć ogólnie przyzwoita, dość szybko narzuca swoje ograniczenia. Gdyby zestaw aparatów był nieco bogatszy, Note Edge byłby jedną z mocniejszych propozycji w segmencie poniżej 1500 zł – porównywalne telefony Motoroli, Realme czy Poco mają nieco nowocześniejsze matryce w lepszym układzie. Bardzo szkoda, bo przez te dwa ograniczenia nowości marki Infinix od razu ustawia się w drugim rzędzie, a wydając tyle samo lub niewiele więcej, można kupić smartfony o nieco lepszym stosunku możliwości do ceny.

From the shiny camera module to the mismatched “One-Tap” button, some elements don’t quite mesh. But appearances aren’t everything, and fortunately, the phone isn’t just coasting on that. Considering the RM999 price tag, you get a device that can keep up with your everyday needs. It has a capable enough camera, and gaming is entirely possible as long as you’re not forcing it to run on the highest settings. With this in mind, though, it does exist in that awkward space where it’s not exactly an entry-level device, but also doesn’t quite pack the punch a proper mid-range phone does. In theory, you could fork out a bit more cash for something a little fancier. Still, it’s a decent option that does offer a good amount of utility.

So, does the Infinix NOTE Edge really give you the edge? It’s a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, it has a decent audio-visual experience, a 5G signal performance that actually works better than my daily driver, decent cameras, and more importantly, it gets longer software support. Its new UI design stands out, and the iOS-inspired visuals are quite nice. Some might say it shows lack of originality, but for me, it’s honestly impressive at how well done they have recreated the iOS 26 look for a midrange device. On the downside, its battery life didn’t meet our expectations despite the large battery, apps can feel a bit slow at times, and gaming performance is limited.
