To właśnie Pixele jako pierwsze skorzystają w Europie z łączności satelitarnej. To Pixele po raz pierwszy dogadają się z AirDropem Apple'a, a od dłuższego czasu wyświetlają reakcje z iMessage. Wraz z Pixelami dostajecie też roczną licencję na Gemini 3 Pro i 2 TB chmury Google'a, dzięki czemu śledzicie rozwój generatywnej sztucznej inteligencji nie tylko w newsach i darmowych apkach, tylko na bogato (normalna cena to 97,99 zł miesięcznie!). I co bardzo istotne, nowości od Google'a nie są nam pakowane na siłę, z milionem aplikacji firm trzecich z niepokojącymi listami zgód i transferem danych do Chin z przystankiem w Moskwie i Dubaju.

Nie jest to telefon dla każdego – jego rozmiary i waga mogą odstraszyć osoby preferujące kompaktowe konstrukcje, a brak ładowarki w zestawie to wciąż drobny minus. Jednak pod względem całościowego doświadczenia Pixel 10 Pro XL trudno cokolwiek zarzucić. To urządzenie kompletne, przemyślane i spójne.

Zauważalnym aspektem jest też znacznie dłuższa praca na baterii — to można poczuć nawet bez przeprowadzania testów. Samo ładowanie, zwłaszcza dzięki akcesoriom zgodnym z Pixelsnap, jest turbo wygodne. Mam ich pełno, bo prywatnie mam iPhone’a, ale wszystko to świetnie działa, nawet w przypadku tanich uchwytów do samochodu. Sporo frajdy dało pierwsze proby fotografowania zestawem aparatów w tym modelu. Ich działanie przypomina to w Apple. Widać tu mocny wpływ fotografii obliczeniowej na finalny rezultat. Czy to dobrze, czy źle ocenicie sami w trakcie czytania (i oglądania sampli) pełnej recenzji, którą opublikujemy w przyszłym tygodniu.

To już kolejny Pixel, który może i nie kręci oszałamiających wyników w AnTuTu, ale jest po prostu całościowo na tyle dobrze zestrojonym urządzeniem, że korzysta się z niego wprost świetnie. Co równie ważne, czuć tu obcowanie z solidnym flagowym smartfonem. Zalet mu nie brakuje. Zaliczam do nich – przede wszystkim – świetny ekran, bardzo dobre głośniki, równie dobrą baterię z ładowaniem Pixelsnap, nienaganną wydajność na co dzień oraz obietnicę długiego wsparcia. Aparat jest bardzo dobry i równie wszechstronny, ale znów nie mogę go nazwać bezwzględnie najlepszym na rynku.A co mogło pójść lepiej? Choć płynność działania na co dzień nie pozwala narzekać, to – mimo wszystko – sucha wydajność nie stoi na tak wysokim poziomie, jak w konkurencyjnych flagowcach.

Ale czy w ogóle warto interesować się Pixelem? Smartfony Google cenię za charakterystyczny styl i znakomite wykonanie. Nie mam powodów by narzekać na jakość wyświetlacza czy stronę komunikacyjną "Dziesiątki", doceniam też dopracowanie szczegółów, jak choćby brzmienia głośników czy haptyki. Aparaty i serce Pixela 10 Pro XL dobitnie pokazują, że ważniejsze od liczb są własne wrażenia i przyjemność z użytkowania sprzętu, warto też wspomnieć, że nowy procesor Tensor jest wyraźnie chłodniejszy od poprzednika. Akumulator i tempo ładowania uznaję za wystarczające, choć nie obraziłbym się, gdyby w kolejnych Pixelach ładowanie jeszcze przyspieszyło.

Sprawa wygląda tak: jeśli szukacie jak najlepszego smartfona z Androidem, ale niechętnie spoglądacie w stronę Samsunga czy chińskich producentów, Google Pixel 10 Pro XL może być w tym momencie najlepszą, a przy tym zupełnie bezkompromisową opcją. To smartfon, który zapewni nie tylko świetne zdjęcia i filmy, ale również bezproblemowy, "czysty" system Android z wieloletnim wsparciem i funkcjami AI, które w wielu sytuacjach mogą okazać się bardzo przydatne. Pytanie tylko, czy faktycznie warto płacić dziś grubo ponad 5 tys. złotych za model, który w tak wielu aspektach okazuje się bardzo podobny do znacznie tańszego dziś Pixela 9 Pro XL? Jeśli tylko nie musicie liczyć się z każdą złotówką, topowa "dziesiątka" faktycznie zdaje się spełniać Wasze oczekiwania, a przy okazji zachęca Was roczny dostęp do subskrypcji Google AI Pro i 2 TB przestrzeni na Dysku Google, to chyba jednak nie warto oszczędzać. Abstrahując już od kwestii opłacalności, tak czy owak nie powinniście być zawiedzeni.

Najnowszy Google Pixel 10 Pro XL to smartfon, z którym mam problem. Jest to świetne, ale dość nudne urządzenie. W konstrukcji zgadza się niemal wszystko, jasny ekran, świetna jakość wykonania czy pojemniejsza wersja pamięciowa. Warto docenić też długie wsparcie i lepsze głośniki. Minusów można doszukać się w odstającym od innych flagowców procesorze i brakach funkcji zapowiedzianych na premierze. Osobiście korzystam z zeszłorocznego modelu, który aktualnie można kupić za 1300 zł mniej w równie pojemnej wersji. W mojej ocenie największą przeszkodą do sukcesu rynkowego jest cały czas świetny i dużo tańszy Pixel 9 Pro XL. Jeśli zależy ci na lepszych głośnikach i asystencie aparatu warto dopłacić do dziesiątki. Większości wystarczy jednak Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Z jednej strony dostajemy dopracowany ekran z wyższą jasnością, co robi różnicę szczególnie w słoneczne dni. Z drugiej strony widać, że producent nie poszedł na skróty przy projektowaniu – zamiast skupiać się tylko na zmianach kosmetycznych, zadbał też o detale takie jak symetryczne maskownice czy odświeżona konstrukcja wyspy aparatów. To drobiazgi, ale w codziennym użytkowaniu mają swoje znaczenie. Warto też wspomnieć o wadze urządzenia. Pixel 10 Pro XL jest cięższy od poprzednika, co dla części osób może być zaskoczeniem, bo trend rynkowy sugeruje raczej odchudzanie smartfonów. Ja sam nie traktuję tego jako wady, bo większa masa wynika z poszerzonej wyspy aparatów.

Zdecydowanie nie można narzekać na możliwości fotograficzne. Główny, duży, 50-megapikselowy czujnik Samsunga i 48-megapikselowy peryskopowy teleobiektyw z pięciokrotnym zoomem optycznym posiadają hybrydową stabilizację obrazu i zachwycają fantastycznie szczegółowymi zdjęciami i filmami nawet w rozdzielczości 8K. Szkoda, że szerokokątny czujnik 48 MP nie posiada OIS. Mimo to na zdjęciach wieczornych robionych tym aparatem widoczne są szumy. Dźwięk stereo jest głośny, wysokiej jakości i bogaty. Dostępne są również płatności zbliżeniowe NFC, obsługa 5G i eSIM. Jednak biorąc pod uwagę cenę, trudno wybaczyć urządzeniu jego słaby procesor i wady wyświetlacza AMOLED.

Overall, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL isn't just the bigger device in the Pixel 10 series. It's also the one to get if you're a gamer and photographer. The bigger screen and vapour chamber ensure good gaming performance for the most demanding games. In addition, the cameras on the Pixel 10 Pro XL are very versatile and can handle both macro and super zoom shots superbly. We do have to note that the Super Res Zoom at 100x can be a bit wonky at times, but perhaps this might improve with further updates. However, due to many of the standout features like Magic Cue and Ask Photos not really being available, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL still feels like a work in progress. Still, with 7 years of updates, we fully expect Google to patch those issues and improve the phone as time goes by.

If you already own the Pixel 9 from last year, this isn’t that big of an improvement to warrant the device upgrade, so keep what you have for another generation at least.

If you simply want the best and most advanced from Google — that'll be the Pixel 10 Pro XL for you.

This is a pretty easy question to answer – if you have a Pixel 9 Pro or 9 Pro XL, I don’t think you need to upgrade. The changes here aren’t meaningful enough for you to take the cash hit and upgrade. And as far as we know, so much of the AI stuff will come to the 9 series at some point. You would really just be upgrading to get Qi2, a full 7 years of updates, and Pro Res Zoom. While that stuff is awesome, ehhhhhh, that’s not much. But for you folks with anything older than a Pixel 9 series, like a Pixel 8 and below, these will be worth a look. The hardware is such a major improvement, the cameras might be too, performance will be better than those old Tensor units, and you get the promise of more AI as it comes out. And yeah, magnets are awesome.

Google focused on software and cameras more so than hardware, and that's perfectly fine. Google took things to a new level with the Pixel 9 Pro, and now, with the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL, I can confidently say that this is Google's most complete phone to date. More so than an iPhone, it just works, and works great. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL delivered a solid performance in the DXOMARK Camera tests, earning itself a spot among the best devices in our current ranking. The latest Google flagship phone uses the same camera modules as its predecessor Pixel 9 Pro XL but, thanks to the new Tensor G5 chipset, camera performance has improved significantly in some areas. Still images come with good exposure and a wide dynamic range, as well as generally nice colors and accurate white balance. Artifacts are very well under control, with only some ghosting and halo effects occasionally noticeable. The camera also maintains a very good trade-off between noise reduction and detail retention, but cannot quite keep up with the very best in this respect.

There’s no denying the Pixel 10 Pro XL is a really good, big slab of a phone. I didn’t get the sense from using it that it offers a huge amount more than the Pixel 9 Pro family from last year, especially not with the software rolling out across several generations and models of Pixel. Still, I’m a big fan of the way the software looks and feels. Similarly, Google has made an effort to implement AI features in a way that is actually useful and feels like it’s cohesively built into the software, and not just bolted on as an additional feature. Despite its weaknesses in terms of benchmarking and gaming performance, I’m a big fan of the latest Pro Pixel. It looks great, has a brilliant display and very consistent camera performance. It’s not perfect by any means, but with the added convenience of PixelSnap, it slots into everyday life easily and may just convince some iPhone users to switch to Android.

I said it in my Pixel 10 review that we’re only at the starting line, but Google has delivered the AI phone that Apple said it would with its AI-powered Siri, but then completely fumbled the execution. It’s no wonder that Apple is reportedly in exploratory discussions with Google to use Gemini to power a next-gen Siri.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is a faster and more refined version of the phone it's replacing. If that sounds boring, that's because it is, but you can hardly blame only Google for doing it, as it has pretty much become the industry standard. The list of improvements really is quite minor. You get better performance from the new Tensor G5 chip and some niceties in the form of the magnetic Qi2 charging and Pixelsnap accessories, but that's really about it. As a phone, the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a lot going for it. The design looks quite attractive, the display is incredible, the software is clean and functional, and the cameras work really well. As for the downsides, the phone is quite cumbersome to use because of its weight and stiff buttons, the G5 chip is lacking compared to rivals with questionable long-term performance, and the charging speeds and battery life remain unimpressive.

With the Pixel 10 lineup, Google has taken last year’s excellent Pixel 9 series, and made it significantly better. Tensor G5 is more efficient and performs better than Tensor G4 virtually across the board. Qi2 with magnets gives these phones access to Apple’s vast MagSafe ecosystem of accessories. Pixel 10's brighter displays, upgraded speakers, larger batteries, and faster charging speeds are all welcome improvements. The Pixel 10 now also packs a telephoto camera that enables 20x magnification, and Pro Res Zoom allows the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL to zoom up to 100x, with spectacular results. Add Google’s outstanding software and AI features to the mix, and you have all the ingredients for a winning recipe. The only thing leaving a bitter taste behind is the lack of SIM trays on the US models.

When I first wrote about the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL I said they were "shaping up to be superb flagship Android phones." I stand by that. They look great, the cameras can certainly take some awesome images and the new AI tools are interesting and only going to get better over time. You shouldn't buy this phone if you already own a Pixel 9 Pro or maybe even an 8 Pro. The hardware upgrades are arguably quite minimal and some of the AI prowess of the 10 Pro series will be shared with earlier Pixel models with updates. You also shouldn't look towards this phone if you're a power gamer, wanting the ultimate handheld console-like experience. While I haven't benchmarked the processor, its overall performance feels good, but not overwhelmingly potent.

I’m eager to put these phones through more testing to see how well they perform, but what I’ve been able to check out first hand convinces me that Google’s pulling ahead of the pack. The company has already established itself for having the best AI phones around, and the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL keeps on widening that gap. Samsung has done well to keep up with its Galaxy AI features, but I think it puts Apple Intelligence on notice because of the amount of new AI features present here with these Pixel 10 Pro devices. They add on to the existing set that Google has delivered, like Call Screen, Pixel Studio, Magic Editor, and much more. Hopefully other aspects of these phones are improved, namely the performance of the Tensor G5 and their battery life. One thing's certain: they make other phones look dumb.
